So a day or 2 ago, i finally started the dash. As you might know by now, i am putting in an Ipad Mini. I got the "side-slider" kit from Doug at Soundman http://www.Soundmanca.com . I am JUST now at a point where i will show the progress as i wasn't sure at first how it would go. Normally i don't like to show "in progress" fabrication just in case i decide not to do it that way and scrap the project. Usually once it gets to the primered stage, i am ready to let people see it. This was a LOT of work so be kind...it needs another few hours of sanding and of course a paint job. It is still rough but you should get the idea where i am going with it by the time you get to the bottom Of course, before i even started, i had to address what to do with all the switches and sockets that were on the stock dash. Time to relocate.
