  1. When the vehicle is off (alternator not turning) and the batteries are all just sitting there, the 16v bank rests at about 17v. The front 12v battery being connected to the rear batteries with the step down modules leaves it at a constant state of 13.9-14.2v. I didn't think that was a good idea to be like that all night long so i made my own isolator out of a 80a relay. So when the car is switched ON, the relay allows the 12v (D3400) to charge as normal off of the step down modules. Once the car is turned off, the connection to the 16v bank is broken. Also, knowing there will be some heat generated on those modules, especially after i hook up the 4 channel, i decided to add some fans to the heat sinks. They will be monitored and automatically cooled off with the SMD TM-1. So i got that started, it all works GREAT! I decided it was time to get a head unit for the system. I will probably make a podium of some sort so the wires are going to be ran into a removable molex plug that i can detach when not in use. Here is just a couple pics...tomorrow i will be working on it some more of course.

  3. You would set each amp separate as far as SSF's go, but you can set each one to the EXACT frequency you want them at. When setting *Subsonic Filters* you set each amp individually but they will still be identical and not play below XX frequency. It comes with two discs that have a track for different frequencies so that's how you set them. No guessing. No using a DMM. No math involved. Super easy, super accurate, super worth it IMO>

  4. Both of my d3100 rest at 12.8 and my d680 also. We had 6 d3100 sitting for 2 months with no charger on them. All still were resting at 12.8
