i gotta balance out hooking a brotha up with going overboard - i mean i don't want him to get the shit stolen the first day LOL. We will clean it up, i know that for sure but how far i am going to go is a different story. I am willing to go all out BUT that might be in the future. I just met the guy today, let me see who i am dealing with first Fair? I will hook him up nice though regardless.

well "Change his life" might be a little exaggeration......but you know what i mean. Especially if you have what this guy has and I (Me) come rolling up on you. LOL I was on my way to get some chlorine for my pool, and on the way home i spot this guy hauling ass down the street. Not a care in the world. Smiling ear to ear. I nearly cut off a few people trying to get back to the parking lot to catch him. I wanted to see this thing. So i stop him and ask if i can take some pics, maybe a video. He is just happy as can be to show off his stuff. Naturally it sounded terrible, but that's ok, it SOUNDED! He had one channel on the amp running everything. The other side blows a fuse if he tries to hook up that channel LOL. The battery is like a piece of hazardous waste riding down the street. Smallest power wire i have ever seen. I do have a little video clip of it....about to upload. I think i can VERY EASILY make this dudes year. Should i?

FYI: he didn't ask me for any help. I am doing this all on my own. Usually when i see something that really needs help bad, i can't help but help. No way i can let a brotha ride around with one channel and 26ga power wire LOL! I gotta hook him up - check out the video here >>

You know my answer. Absolutely. Not because he deserves it but because you already thought about it and you know if you don't you'll always regret not taking the time to give someone who tried hard but just didn't have the means to make it happen. If you need anything that you don't pull from the boneyard let me know and I'll dig through mine.

That is very cool of you Steve. Definitely do it, or show him what to do. Maybe he's never seen proper work. I love the SOTM but none of those winners seem, I don't want to say needy, but they're not rolling on a 10 speed with a one channel working dual amp. Give him a copy of that magazine you were just in so he recognizes how truly lucky he is to have a bass benefactor!!!!!!!! Very, very cool man!

If it was me I'd do a full fiber glass enclosure because that thing has suck to ride with all that extra weight especially with where it's at.

if you have the time... give him the stuff and direct him on what to do so he does all the work... with your supervision..... if you give a horse a drink he drinks for a day but if you teach a horse to drink it lives longer and then gets big and people can have a horse BBQ and eat for a month! that is sorta what i was thinking. Teach him. Let him do it but i supply him with everything. First things first. The wire bin. Time for some 8ga at least. haha

Seeing his skills compared to yours i say you should do it. Maybe bring him into the shop and have him help you work on it so he can learn how the pros do it.
