  1. Most important question that can be asked, where are you grounded for the amp? Is the ground for the amp to bare metal? Is it flimsy sheet metal? Bad grounds can cause excessive heat issues with an amp. SO can just plain HEAT, like you said its 105 outside. I live in Phoenix and its it the 110s lately, it's a real bitch, but my amp doesn't protect because I'm grounded directly to my frame.

  2. Nice video Steve! DjCrush, the LLP is actually quite rigid due to the nearly 1/4" thick mass loaded vinyl that is fused to the closed cell foam layer. That and the foam is quit stiff so it really doesn't feel squishy under carpet.

  4. The instructions don't specify where the sub level should be set on the head unit. So what I did is set mine to 10/15, knowing I'd never take it up past 5/15. Not sure if thats the best way to do it though so im hoping for some clarification. thats easy....set everything on the deck to flat including the bass. I thought that was in the manual. Let me check it out.
