coming from somebody with a degree in painting: good luck. if you have no prior experience and you're planning on doing a decent job, then you have some serious practice ahead of you. what spray gun/ air compressor do you have? what kind of paint and effects are you trying to shoot? how clean is the garage?

thats a good rule of thumb, to prevent the wiring from melting/burning up. i prefer to use smaller fuses, usually about 50 amps more than my alts can produce (250 amp fuse on my 170amp iraggi, 200amp fuse on my 130 amp alt)

you could make the box 36w X 14t X 20d and if you make it out of 3/4 wood, then you're looking at 4.6 cubic feet of volume total. you could then make the port 6w X 12.5t X 25 1/8"d and you'll get tuning at 34hz. the volume after the port and sub displacement will drop down to just a hair over 4 cubic feet total. how much power are you going to run to the pair?

seriously, dont make this too tough. spin the gasket around the basket until the holes line up. if you cannot see the holes even after spinning the gasket atleast 10", then take the gasket all of the way off of the basket and inspect from there. there is no chance they sent you a basket without holes

the mx's are more sq, iirc two lvl 3 15s in 6-8 cubes ported would be best
