  1. yeah lol i was getting something out of the fridge the other day and a damn mouse ran over my feet from under the fridge, i was gay for 5 seconds omg i busted out laughing so hard just now
  2. just look in the tunez section. should be pinned there
  3. ~33hz with ~7ft^3 of air space. lets see what about it tuned to 29 or 30 hz you ask what his opinion was on tuning, he told you, so you turn around and say 'what about 29 or 30'? looks you're pretty set on that tuning, so just go with it. even tho 3 hz won't make that much of a difference imo. also...there's a lot more to a box in frequency response than tuning alone, just fyi.
  4. check out havik then. they're the group i like the best of the artists he's posted. turn em all out and the road ahead are free mixtapes, the third lane is on itunes for $10
  5. thanks for your review of it. nothing there seems too much for me to wanna not buy the tablet. i'm going to use it for music and video, so anything else is no bother to me. i might try to hook up some other screens to it (if possible, if not oh well) but that'll be about it. yay
  6. that's what i do on my HD2. windows is such a horrible OS. it's interface is 'pretty', but the execution is horrible. android is ftw
  7. size of sub (diameter) doesnt determine displacement to an extent, it does. put the same size motor on a 10" cone, and it'll have less displacement than that same motor on an 18" cone. the cone itself is bigger, and most likely longer overall so they'll still displace different volumes. however, 3 hundredths of a cubic foot will not make a difference in the output in this instance
  8. it will provide a better loading environment for the sub to work in as well as less restriction. rounding over the port will help air flow, and not sure if james is talking about 45's in the port or the box, but i don't bother with 45's in the box, but i put them in the port for better air flow. even if they don't always help, it won't be audible. imo they have a better chance of helping than hurting.
  9. yeah like they said...if you're this unfamiliar with doing something like this, either leave it stock or go to a forum specialized in that stuff instead of a car audio forum to get the proper information that you need. XDA is a badass place when it comes to that stuff
  10. i second this. i ruined some equipment a while ago due to setting with a CD player and playing with an ipod. i suggest setting everything through the primary listening source, whether it be a cd player, ipod/touch/phone, other mp3 player, usb, etc. i do believe the ipod i was using was going through the 3.5mm jack through the headunit, if i remember right
  11. whoa...when did i post this? lol no. i find the reasoning in a song sums it up: put some henney up in your cup, your problems will start to drown. soon as the buzz leaves, your problems come back around. or like you said, makes it worse: i'm drinkin bottles of patron tryin to drink away my troubles, but bein an alcoholic only make thangs double so i avoid any kind of 'escape'. i like to look into songs for good messages
  12. this one is my personal fav http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qG1sZhO74A peaks in the low 40's
  13. i'd LOVE to shoot a sniper rifle. perhaps one day... pretty cool that your first shooting was with an AR lol
  14. take the sub out anyway? get the right sized screwdriver and you won't have to worry about stripping them. or if you do, they're what...a few bucks for like 100 of em?
  15. can you get it to the boot loader screen? if so, then you might just need to flash a new rom to it, or even the same one you have now.
  16. Thanks man, my boy Juan Rodriguez and I have some time invested in it for sure. yes can't forget him either. i knew of another name mentioned before, but couldn't remember it. my hat's off to everyone on this project i was also going to mention rechargeable batteries for this unit. i have some for my wireless mouse and they charge right next to me so i'm never down more then the 20 seconds that it takes for me to swap them out
  17. i want to keep my scope...but if i won't use it anymore i'm thinking about just selling it and using it to fund this.
  18. pleeeeeease do! i'm in the market for one myself that's about 10". i'll be getting it when i buff up my funds some, then i get to work on my audios
  19. i see a lot of people giving steve tons and tons of props for this unit. while i agree and give him props as well, i equally give tony d'amore props all the same. i'm sure he had a huge part in this product too
  20. i dno how well it'd meter with no doors or walls or anything to keep the pressure in
  21. when he was on drugs he was also younger. he's matured now, as did his sound. i like both. i've had this album a couple days, i like it. i like welcome to hell the best
  22. yeah it's (pi * (r^2) * length of rod) / 1728
