  3. shift that port in the top right of the pic to the middle of the box and it's a better '2 common wall' slot port
  4. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1033905&page=7 that happen to be the thread? didnt read into it too much
  5. x2 on setting it with a dmm before doing it by ear oscope> dmm > ear
  6. if it's not on a termlab, there's no real 'proof'. just ballpark readings
  7. ^^lol not gonna lie...but i kinda laughed when they put the fork in the garbage disposal
  8. it's not as complicated as you may think. the math is basic (square root, multiplication, and division). the letters are just variables. once you know what numbers to place there you can pluck away at the formula to come up with the tuning.
  9. wow man you sure love your funky pup jokes dont ya?
  10. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/38791-torres-exposport-box-tuning-calculator-updated-310/#entry551556 look closely at the boxes. it will tell you what your port area range should be in accordance to your net volume. that'll keep you in a ballpark range.
  11. hurray for no bitchy neighbors to call the cops when you play mids and highs
  12. oh damn i like those last ones. a light tint over those too would blend very well. paint looks good...now i wanna see pics of said shop sounds damn badass already
  13. wow very nice install. the craftsmanship looks really nice. and the wheels look nice from what i can see on that angle. any other angles of the wheels?
  14. what part of ky? i live just south of cincy. only thing to do really around here is go to club/bar type places. that's all i like to do anyway lol. we have an ohio river beach here. not quite sure i'd wanna go anywhere near it tho...might walk out growing another limb or somethin
  15. click the help button and look through the help. there's a diagram on what it'd look like. a box with 2 different depths. the top depth gets used at depth 1. depth 2 needs to be longer in order to work properly. it'd in essence look like this then a box with 2 heights needs height 2 to be *smaller* than height 1. only works if depth 2 is more than depth 1 on the calculator. that'd make a box like this notice the sides are labeled as H1, D1, etc. that corresponds to the measurement that should be entered in the calculator
  16. you're going to need to post up the type of vehicle, the dimensions you have to work with, and primary listening music
  17. i'm excited. i want either this or ff 13...i'm thinkin ff13 first as i have a couple action games before this one. but it'll definitely come soon. demo was freakin fun to play
  18. i would almost do 2 8" ports over 4 6" ports. 9" long. 37 hz
  19. look for an amp that does that power at 2 ohm if you can afford one that large. if not, work on your electrical somethin fierce then get one that can do it at .5 ohms nice rims by the way. i like those. what kind are they?
  20. played the demo. will DEFINITELY be buying this one. very badass and graphics are like whoa
  21. nope. not near enough port area. you need to more than double it. and if you're doing a wedge box like that, the second depth needs to be more than the first depth or else you're just doing a square box.
  22. "did he seriously just break that?" lol. that's badass damn!
  23. exactly what i was going to say. if a sub is rated at 500 watts RMS, you dont need to put 1000 watts on it for it to perform properly. and if one or two people double their power, it's not necessary for everyone to for them to run properly on a daily basis.
