the AQ SDC2.5 15s are really nice, I've had two and have 1 right now hooked up. Only bad thing is, it took like 2-3 months of constantly beating on it to loosen up.
I've had a local place fix my speakers before, little 6" subs, they just need new surrounds, they took the old off and put new surrounds on. But I don't know how well it'd work on a big sub.
have the local dealer look at it, and give you a part number, then order it online. They should have mechanics that could look at and tell you what it is and look up a PN for it?
I got mine today. It feels as if its almost the same as Damplifier, I have 5 sheets of damplifier laying around. Tim is a pretty cool guy, we've sent back and forth a few emails.
Audioque has some awesome subs for a low price. the SDC2.5 15s are awesome. rated at 600 rms, I ran mine on about 900rms daily tuned to 36hz.
audioque.com is were you can order and find specs.
