  1. ncix.ca is probably going to be the cheapest for you. I have a very high end gaming desktop (I build them once a year) and I run a corsair AX1200. You won't need something like that, but I can tell you Corsair is a very good brand. Newegg to canada is rather expensive to ship.. same with TD, but if you find a good deal, it would be worth it. Would the ax1200 be to much though? I am planning to make a gaming pc out of the one I have. All depends on what you setup is going to be.
  2. I'll start with the phone. First, the megapixel rating of a camera means absolutely nothing. It's the sensor that matters. The sensor on the GNex is much higher quality than that sensor on the TBolt and will have much clearer photos. I wouldn't recommend the GNex, as it'sa very poorly/cheaply made phone. It's not the only phone with ICS, lots of phones have them via custom ROMS, and even more will be getting official releases soon. As for tablets, I wouldn't really recommend the Xoom, but if you like it, go for it. I personally recommend the Asus Transformer. It's a damn fine tablet, and you can buy a removable keyboard dock. The tablet has microSD, MicroHDMI, Mic/headphone input, and a front and rear camera. The dock adds 2 USB ports, a fullsize SD port, and of course a keyboard. It's currently on 3.2 Honeycomb, and will be receiving the ICS update very soon. I see you're a Droid fan, so I would recommend the Droid 3. I have one, currently running ICS, and its damn nice. The only thing with the current ICS build for D3 is that the camera doesn't work. However, Hashcode (the dev working on it) is fixing the camera drivers right now, and will have an update in the next few days. Good luck in your choices.
  3. Just make sure to screenshot whatever delivery confirmation you have, keep receipts if you got one when you shipped it, and don't back down.
  4. There have been a lot of threads about this lately. Easy way around it is to type 8O instead.
  5. Just wondering, did you update all your drivers after installing Windows? Not just the gfx card, but your chipset and everything? If not, do that.
  6. Put this shit in the political arena, I don't want to have skim over a thread of retards to get to the things I really want to read. And if you took to the time to read the legislation, natural-born citizens are not effected by it. It's only immigrants that come here and obtain citizenship. There have been a growing number of terrorists from those groups of people, it's all a security measure. Get your facts straight, and post your shit in the right place.
  7. Do you want to be the guy that makes them work the guy that makes them look good? Two different jobs there, in my mind. Make them work = engineering and math of some sort Make them look good = a design path of some sort
  8. If you're this lost I would really suggest taking it to an electronics repair shop. As much as I don't like Best Buy's Geek Squad, I would recommend you try that.
  9. That's why I just don't cut my hair. Last hair cut was early August of last year. I used to keep it shaved, no guard, did it myself.
  10. Just an update: Compact pc cases are a bitch and a half to wire correctly and still look clean.
  11. I would also like this, song is sick as shit
  12. I don't doubt that it will get boring after a while, but it is something I've always wanted to do (building PCs), I just never had the money to build my own. I'm just waiting for the "real" fun, when we do big orders, which apparently happens a lot. They apparently did a lot of about 20 for some company recently.
  13. Got a new job, today was my first day. A company called Velocity Micro, you may have heard of them. They are a small company from around here that produces Android tablets, custom built-to-order PCs, monitors, and everything. What I actually do is build the PCs, and to be honest, before today, I had never built one before. At the end of the day, I built one with the help of a mentor, and one all by myself. Very easy to do, or maybe I'm just a quick learner. All in all, I think I'm gonna like it here. Pretty laid back, joking atmosphere. I was told as long as it gets done, looks good, and nothing get's broken, have fun.
  14. Just remove the hood, you don't need it anyway. Hoods are for bitches.
  15. UberMusic is hands down my favorite music app. It's a paid app, not sure how much. PM me if you'd like a 'free' copy.
  16. I don't play MW3, but I use it to enter for prizes as well xD I have about 4 hours racked up. None of the Doritos codes work, most likely because of the dumbasses that go around and take pictures of the codes and entering them.
  17. However, its a refurb, and I wouldn't recommend buying a refurb tablet.
  18. Photoshop, Paint.NET, and GIMP are all good things to use, the latter two being free. As for videos, you'll need to fork some cash over (or use other means) to get Sony Vegas or Adobe After Effects or something similar.
  19. Fair enough. xD I sat in line and got one, and no one got hurt
  20. Damn you guys should have hopped on Best Buy's black friday sale for the Asus Transformer. It was $250 (normally $499) and a DAMN fine tablet. As stated before, I wouldn't recommend the Kindle Fire unless you root it and install a custom ROM on it, same goes for the Nook Color. I would also recommend you stay away from Sony, Acer, and no-name tablets, from personal experience. I've had nothing but trouble with Sony and Acer tablets. (Sony computers are usually good as shit though, they just kinda dropped the ball on their tablets) edit- Regarding the Pandigitial that was posted above: Stay away! That thing is a p.o.s. and can barely run stock android after rooting. It's has a terrible processor and lags like a bitch. As for the Android OS, I would recommend looking for a 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2 tablet that is upgradable to 4.0. I know for certain the Moto Xoom, Sansung Galaxy Tab, and Asus Transformer are getting 4.0, not sure of any others.
