    Yea man, just pick up the XP3000 and whatever D series battery you can afford after that for under the hood. See how your voltage does and then add to the back if you need to. I'll bet you'll be alright if you at least add a 3400 or bigger up front.

    I didn't realize it before but how come the xp3000 is "only" rated for 3k compared to the d3100's 5k? Also, are there handles on the xp's? Hard to tell from the pics.

    Used or new? Get whatever you can afford for under the hood and an xp3000 in the rear. See how you sit with that. Then add to the back as needed. Good luck bra

    If you look at the battery wattage scale thats pinned, it is equivalent to the d975. It is good for 1k as starting battery or 2k as secondary battery. So with your yellowtop up front and this in the back you should be good. (assuming your set up correctly)

    You still use a port on a 4th order, and yes you can tune lower. I wouldn't go lower than 28 like you said you wanted. To make it easier, adjust your max dimensions so its a square/rectangular. That way your not cutting all sorts of angles. Then see how much space you have. Decide enclosure type..4th or ported. Then build. Sound good?

    I'm sure its safe but why shorten the life of the batteries? That's what I read happens when you mix different brand agm batteries. If its for a short amount of time then I would.

    Yea thats what I figured too. The lvl 5 18 is the one I really wasn't to sure about. I would love to be able to fit a 2nd 18 but I don't think I have the space.
