The Cinematic Orchestra
Baydestrian replied to Baydestrian's topic in Tunez - All things music related
I feel you there, I was able to obtain an mp3 download of the album via Google and it sounds great. Yeah they just paired two tracks from the above album to that short video. Neil + the music = EPIC IMO. The original music is from a Disney picture about Flamingos haha -
Getting the best sound quality out of 2 12s?
Baydestrian replied to CoritaAlterado's topic in SQ - SOUND QUALITY
The subs aren't "jumping frequency", that note is just way to low for your subs and you are clipping the shit out of them on top of that with the whole "80% gain". Gain matches your deck voltage. Since I know you don't have any way of using a tool to set it so you will be doing it the last resort way, BY EAR (unless you do the mentioned below about calling a shop): 1. Go here and download the 45hz Sine Wave http://www.realmofex...m/downloads.htm & burn to a CD 2. Turn all settings on deck to 0, turn bass boost and gain on amp all the way down 3. Turn deck volume up to 75% of the max volume, if 35 then put it at 27 or 28. Put CD in and track on repeat. 4. Go to your amp and turn the gain up slowly until you start to hear distortion, when you do back it off just a tad. DON'T TOUCH THE BASS BOOST ON AMP! You are using 2 completely brand subs which is the 1st fail, using a 10 and 12 will be an even bigger fail, don't even think about it. Honestly, you want your music to sound better get 2 of the same subs, quality subs. Kicker CVRs are cheap entry level and will get the job done. Build a ported box that is tuned between 30-35hz. On top of that look into getting a DD-1 from Steve or call around to shops in the area and ask them if they have an O-Scope and how much it would cost to set your amp. I read some comments on that epicenter you are running on Amazon, not the best place for reviews of car audio lol, but the whole "it made bass when there was none" is kinda confusing to me. -
This video is recently going viral, great video especially since I am into learning about the Universe & space exploration but soundtrack that goes with it is amazing. This is the soundtrack both songs are from, $24.99 for the album holy moly lol, I am actually considering purchasing it: http://www.amazon.co...1500120&sr=8-11

Not sure, I can't even tell there's lag since there is nothing to go off of, try filming and tapping something at the same time when there is sun light out. Just an FYI those Silverstars suck, from all the reviews I've read they burn out so damn fast, within 6 months. These headlights on the other hand are great, I have the 9006 for my Caddy, another Cadillac owner from a forum said he's been running the same pair in his for over 2 years. These are the ones for your Jeep, about $10 cheaper than mine! lol http://www.amazon.co...31484642&sr=1-4

Bimmer, I hope you didn't do a YT to MP3 then judge it by that, you can clearly hear now this is not CDQ of the song.

help all my music is clipped
Baydestrian replied to teardrop's topic in Tunez - All things music related
Also, don't fret too much about clipping in songs, unless it is audibly distorted (Gucci Mane - Swing My Door is a great example of wayyyyy too much bass lol). Make sure your amps are set properly and know when your headunit clips, be smart with the volume on songs you know clip even if not audibly, for instance Big KRIT music which has clipped thuds (like most TX music). I play clipped music all the time in my car, subs still work, go figure lol. -

Retail is the easiest. My two buddies and I walked into JCPenney a few days before our senior year and before we even started the application the receptionist said they were hiring and scheduled us interviews for the next day and then we did the application lol. Worked there for just over 2 years, got fired, worked at Fed-Ex for Xmas season then my dads office helping out with paperwork for a few months before going to Lowes for about a year and half, got fired from there lol and got a job doing security about a month later and I've been here ever since.

In related news: Live Mixtapes>>>>DatPiff. A bit slower DL speeds but the folders at least come with m3u's and are organzied nicely with proper ID3 tags. For some reason lately with official artist mixtapes, i.e. Slim Thug "Houston" & Nelly's "O.E.M.O.", I am not able to change the ID3 tags in the properties and they play on Itunes but not on my ipod. -
Wtf is this? Lol

lulz i need to try out this game -
haha I never fill up in the city, usually in Daly City or Redwood City. According to Gasbuddy, cheapest 87 in Frisco is 4. 25 at the Arco on Geneva. 4.33 at the Shells I go to in RWC & Daly City. I usually use 91 but due to the prices I'm going down to 87 for the time being, thank god Cadillac has a very effective knock detection system so I can run it without issues.

Rather than Bass Lines...
Baydestrian replied to Cadillac John's topic in Tunez - All things music related
He asks for music with less bass and more relaxation and you post that song @ kiean? lol . I mean Blackmill does use quite a bit of bass but overall its relaxing music.
