For school I've been working on this mock homicide case and I'm at the point of sentencing. I need to write a letter to the judge with sentencing recommendations. My role is one of the police officers involved in the investigation. I'm mostly trying to find a written example on the internet but I can't find anything good on google and don't know where else to look. I don't know what format and how to write it. Any help is appreciated. edit: This is finished, I just winged it and it turned out good. Don't need any help now.

Its about as stupid as those people who walk around the store with music playing on their phone. It's obnoxious and when people give you that look when you drive by they're not thinking "wow that guy is the shit", they're thinking "what a fucking douchebag".
