    Do you mean a test disc that ONLY has those new tones, or a disk that has both? I don't think having both would be a bad idea (0, -2.5, -5, -7.5, -10) and possibly scrapping the -15.

    It works well enough for a MAJORITY of members here to use it. It can't really distort signal because when its fully turned up, the gain is only as high as whats inputted into the knob (if that makes sense). If you meant resistance, its minimal. I love mine.

    Haha.. No, the warranty doesn't cover negligence and losing parts. You could order a new one direct from Sundown, or just pick up a PAC LC-1.

    I used -5 on my mids and highs.. too much distortion for me. 0db was too quiet. I made the compromise and used Chris' -2.5dB track. Love it! I used -5dB for my subs. No complaints.. No regrets..

    When you said response in the original post, you mean frequency response.. right? Frequency Response: "measure of magnitude and phase of the output as a function of frequency" If it gets a lot louder at 50hz, then the frequency response is affected. 50hz would be a peak in frequency response, which is an increase in magnitude. If you draw out the sine wave, you'd understand.

    I understand that most of those who posted calculate optimal port area by using a formula. My question though is how many actually use that recommendation? The reason I ask is because that seems like a ton of port area.

    Okay.. So Im buying a pair of 10" DC Level 4 m2s and will be powering them with around 3500wrms. I drive a Mitsubishi 3000GT (has a hatch). The subs and port will both be firing up. Here's what Im thinking.. 2 - 2.25 cubes tuned between 32-33hz. Im a bit lost on port area. A friend advised me that ~35 sqin would work well, but does anyone else want to comment on the box? Im all ears.. Thanks again guys
