  1. Moar! Lol, I can totally relate to your setup, because I am also trying to be uber loud with 1 12. Do a walk around video please
  2. I thought they taught math to everybody... Hmmmm... if you take two 500 watt subs and hook them up to 1 amp, how big would the ideal amp size be? 500x2, aka 500+500=1000! 1000 Watt amp. So you were right about the subs. 3x400=1200 watts in ideal situations. However, the clean delivery of the 1200 watts of power is the key factor. If it is dirty power, then you will ruin your equipment, and not get your power. I have an AP15001D and it wont do 1500 watts RMS cleanly, so I can't do the 1500 watts RMS. Maybe your amplifier will only do 400 RMS cleanly. Go to an audio shop and get them to use the O-scope on your amp to set your gains.
  3. Check Oxygen Sensors. My moms mustang is doing this and her oxygen sensors are bad. Then check the Timing chain and flywheel. This could possibly be the reason why you heard a nasty noise. If it is fuel injected, check the injectors. Check your spark plug wires on the block and the distributor. Check the oil. Put fuel injection cleaner in, and check the fuel filter if none of the above fixes it. The injectors and spark plug wires make sense for it running rough, but it doesn't fit with the second post. The 02 sensors do weird shit, and the timing chain, flywheel, and oil level is what I would expect. Hope I helped.
  4. lmfao! Thats all I have to say. The movie would be better if they actually used the Epic Beard Man.
  5. lmao! Tweeters and a 3.25" Sub! But yes, a little stereo type thing and an ipod dock would be sweet.
  6. Winning!!! Umm, put a horn on it. I wish you could do a train horn, but a little squeaker will work! Spinners!
  7. If you move the bass boost, its going to change. If you have the gains set to max before distortion, all turning the bass boost up is going to do is cause you to distort.
  8. Better yet, just stick to natural herb. That synthetic crap should be illegal. Yeah, I just tried it because I don't go around looking for pot to smoke. My buddy told me what it was, and he could get it easier than he could get pot, so we would smoke it instead, haha. Not worth it.
  9. As a 17 year old, I can honestly say that I don't drink unless I am at home on a special occasion. I would rather smoke pot than drink away from home. I don't smoke much either, like I haven't smoked true Marijuana in a year as of yesterday. But K2 is becoming popular. I stopped that after it made me sick for a week though. Don't do K2 unless its once in a while, doing that daily WILL fuck you up. Glad to see that there are less kids drinking though, that means there is less drunk driving.
  10. Read the beginning of his second sentence. Edit: My bad, the third sentence. @OP, possibly the RCA inputs on the amp or the outputs on the head unit. I would try hooking the RCAs to one of the component RCA outputs on the head unit and seeing if you can get any response on a speaker. Not exactly sure what you mean.. Could you dummy it down for me man? I'd love to try tohis to see if that's it. I have the cables hooked up to the head unit. From there what? You know how the headunit has two sets of RCA plugins? Well, most do. One set is Subwoofer RCA outputs, and the other set is for the components. Switch the RCAs from the Subwoofer plugins to the other set. This is all on the headunit. Its a possibility that the Subwoofer plugins went out, and if you move the RCA cables to the component ones and it fixes your problem, that would prove it. If it doesn't fix it, then it is either power problems, such as a poor ground or even a remote wire being loosely connected, or it could be your RCA inputs on the Amplifier is bad. I am sorry if I sound confusing, I just can't think of the proper terminology to describe it better ATM haha.

  12. I believe they are coming out with upgraded versions of the Level 2, 3, 4, and XL. Better cooling. they officialy going to add the neo mag option? or is that going to be separate? Not sure what they are doing exactly, I just know its gonna raise the prices a little, but the excellent cooling and badassness will make it well worth it. Hell, I thought these subs were a bargain as it is, haha.
  13. Everybody else said what you should do. However, you should have seen the look on my face when I thought somebody was looking for a port with a diameter of 21".

  15. My friends did this, it was just the voltage meter. Dont trust this answer as the only answer tho, could be anything. How many batteries do you have out of curiosity?
  16. Your amp is taking power. Do the big 3 upgrade and it will help. Get another battery or a Capacitor and it will fix it. I don't recommend a capacitor though, they just store power taken from the battery and use it where it is needed, which can lead to clipping. Plus, a good one that will do its job costs way more than buying just another battery. Edit: That is weird that rolling the windows up causes it to dim too, but I can bet money that getting another battery would fix that problem too.
