If your worried about them being expensive just don't solder on the original terminals, instead solder two 8 gauge wires well 4 total.

Alright thanks! I think I found someone to build a box with fiberglass too get the proper space and tuning. Do the SA8's like a lower tuning? I was thinking around 31hz, from my experience that is my favorite frequency. I guess since it will be with aeros it won't be hard to raise/lower tuning if they don't like the lower tuning

Also it will depend if I can go ported or not if I get the 3500. It will be tuned with DD-1 with -5 track either way but if I go ported the enclosure is on the small side so ill over power them a little. If it stays sealed I'll run them with the 2200d since the enclosure will be too big on the sealed side.

I'm wondering if this box will work for 4 SA 8v2's. First question, I've heard the v2 has too much motor force for a sealed box is that true? Second if the first is true, can I buy 2 4 inch aero ports for each side of the box? If I do that they will be firing out the side toward the doors if room allows for it. I plan on running 4 on a AQ2200d, or AQ3500. Also since the box is pre fab how would I go about figuring the tuning for that box with two 3 or 4 inch aeros? What kinda dimensions you working with behind the 3rd row? Will 15s even fit between the the third row and hatch? I sold my Yukon and don't remember but I don't think there's enough room unless yours is an XL..

If you do run your stock alt for awhile personally I'd trickle charge your batteries once or twice a week.. And then still keep that habit when you get a high output alt! Just my opinion.

I would personally do gold/bronze rims or RSX type S rims, just do a cat back exhaust not worth the money for a cheap header! I actually have my exhaust still if your some what close. Is the pulley smaller than the original? I had a 250 amp alt and when I'd get up there in RPMs it would do the same thing. It would squeak for about 200-300 rpm before shifting and lights would dim and voltage would drop to 13 this was on a Yukon with smaller pulley tho. I fixed my problem when my alternator went out just a few weeks later

I know this doesn't help much but every CDA 117 I've tested or seen tested doesn't clip full 35/35 through front/rear/sub preouts. I'd highly reccomend scoping/dd1 on all your equipment tho. Also leave the subwoofer level at +15 on almost all alpine units.

Tebow is mediocre at best! I'm a Vikings fan and remember that game against the broncos where tebow had a hard time hitting wide open receivers and I mean wide open thanks to our awesome secondary. I had two 5s on 2k a piece no problem but when I started running over 4k a piece I had problems, I'm still not so sure it was not my box giving me issues but it was plenty loud on 2k I think you'll be find for now!

Off topic but I've always wondered how you mount them? Just adapter hubs? And what do you run for tire size? I had some tires off my 300C and they fit on there just way too small width wise. Any way depending on where your from I know our parts people sell them to us for 210 per rim for satin and like 250 for polished finish.

A guy used to live across the street from me who was deaf, he went deaf from something at work and he had 4 15 Orion's on some Orion amp 5000 not sure if it was peak or RMS but it was loud. Couple stinger batteries in an astro van. He could still hear just a bit but he always had that radio playing some bone crusher all I ever heard out of that van. You literally had to yell for him to even hear you standing next to him. His apartment complex called him in all the time cuz they thought him and his girl were fighting cuz he talked loud to hear try and hear himself lol. Cool ass dude one of the first to get me into bigger powered systems.
