    Hat is beautiful stuff. Id go with number 8. Unless you plan on running that good of drivers in everything else. But i would do the kerf'd sides on it. Its a good amount stiffer as you prolly know.

    Dust caps to keep them from getting dirt in the coil. Crossovers are little better because they dont just use caps like coaxials do. Stageing is the bigest reason tho

    You could seal it forward but with 2-3inches between the box and the metal you didnt want to cut then make some trim peices to round out those edges. Get what im saying? Hah

    Well first off if you had a dc 2k then went to aq2200 it would be more like down gradeing. But it isnt going to be louder with the same power. Unless you went to like a lvl 6 that barly moved off that power. But you cant even get anything dc right now.
