    Wouldn't it be great if head unit manufacturers allowed you to save settings so that you don't have to reset things when it's disconnected from power?

      I've gotten pretty fast at it. Just set my favorites then adjust from there. Buy yeah it would be nice to save the settings.

      my kenwood exelon dnx 9960 has that option

      My DEH-80PRS does that to an extent. It saves all the time alignment info and crossover settings. All that's left to do when you get power to it again is to re-do the EQ and put the colors back to what you want.
