Or could end up in a fire. But check your power wire for shorts, Check your ground, Make sure its good, and its on bare metal, loose ground can put it in protect, Shitty grounds can do that. What is your amp that you are going to be running to the sub? You may be saying 2K, And its rated for 2K, But doesn't mean you will get the 2K out of it. I personally, Would choose the SSD with Cooling option, And Dual 2 if your going to just run a single sub setup. And in the future, You can get a 2nd one, and a 2nd amp, Strap the amps, and have a 2 ohm final load, and ends up 1 ohm per amp. Btw, You could feed it more power, You just have to be sure you are NOT CLIPPING the sub. You should be perfect. But that's just me though.

You could go years without formatting, and reinstalling windows. Just use a good internet security package like Norton, use CCleaner, and remove a bunch of programs that you wont use, and disable things on start up that you wont use, And keep it constantly updated. Don't go to weird, malicious sites, Downloading random stuff, and you should be fine. I use to re-do, my computer every 2 months or so, but i also stopped doing stupid stuff on it too, and kept it clean. They can last a while, software wise.

Its possible. You just have to make sure when you park your car, to leave it out of gear, Use parking brake, and get a clutch bypass. Wouldn't there be included a gear sensor to tell if it was in gear, telling it not to start? That would be another thing.
