  1. Idk but that seems on the small side for a box for a 15. And no vs threads
  2. Lot's will suggest ones made by higher end companies, I cheaped out and went to autozone and grabbed one for $20 and it works great.
  3. What kind of car do you have? Do you know the size of the alternator that is stock to your car? Do you know the size of the battery that is stock to your car? Like The guy above me said. You should be fine with that wire. 100a should be good up to a the distance it takes to run through a car on 4awg wire.
  4. Last night I retuned both of my amps. Since my phone cannot do stereo bluetooth anymore because it's in such bad shape. I tuned through the AUX cable this time. Every other time though, used bluetooth. I used the same -db tracks as I did before, just this time, used Snow's .wav files over the .mp3 ones. I noticed that this time around, everything sounds just a bit quiter than it had before. Some songs that used to drop me to 10's, now doesn't, mids/highs are as loud as they where before. Could that be because I used the .wav files? Or maybe something else? I am going to try the mp3's a bit later today, couldn't get access to the DD-1 test cd last night so I had to work with what was availible to me at the time.
  5. Did they say what size pulley they are putting on the alt? I remember, if it is even correct lmao. When I just bought my alt from US, they said they are putting on a pulley that's the same size my stock, so it will literally be swapable no extra parts needed.
  6. In all honesty, if you are asking that question. You should have asked it before you bought a product and having an expectation from it without knowing how it actually works to begin with. Charging voltage is usually based off of a builtin computer saying what to charge at. Honda's have an ELD (Electronic Load Detector), where the alt is only charging, when it detects a load. Which a system, doesn't count, it goes off of windows, heat/ac, lights, sum roof. Every car is different. What vehicle do you have??
  7. I am pretty sure the DD1+ is for high voltage systems and amps that are over 6k-8k in power? Someone correct me if I am wrong.
  8. I remember like 4 years ago my dad bought me a 20sqft bulk pack for my birthday. Only ended up doing the doors of the car at the time. Still have like 10sqft+ that I am going to use this weekend on my current vehicle. Night and day difference.
  9. I took mine up to the woods to cut firewood , and I had the same issue . I'm connecting with either a galaxy s5 or iPhone 5 . Another funny anomaly is my wife's s5 ,and mine can connect to the boxx at the same time . I'm playing music one day ,and I can hear her stupid bubble pop game too . I have had that happen so many times I unpaired my PC and the box. I would play music off of my phone, turn my pc on and here the boop boop for it connecting. Worst is, if I am jamming, that's really loud lol.
  10. I noticed with mine if I go through my house it is bad with reception, but I have never used anything else with bluetooth other than a very high end logitech headset, and only into the other room. I have noticed though, which I believe is my PC's fault, but it has very hard times connecting to it. I really think that is my wifi/BT adapter for my pc being shitty.
  11. So I thought half of my stereo was dead, turns out my phone cannot bluetooth a stereo signal for some reason. My question that originated into me looking into why it didn't work. What does the VU get it's source from. Is there a 4 channel amp powering each speaker? So the VU is for just a speaker, or is there a 2 channel power each side, so the VU goes off of that?
  12. My 15's slam 40-60hz like it's nobodies business.
  13. Thanks, never knew about that voltage part. I am pretty damn sure I can, just want to hear a yes it will work as it's meant to before I possibly harm his nice new expensive sub
  14. I had my dad pick up a B&W ASW1200 I believe it was. It is a 12" subwoofer with an attached 200w amplifier. On the amp there is a knob, can't remember if it was labeled as volume, gain, whichever. My question is. Shouldn't I be able to take the amp off, wire up the DD-1 to the amp and turn the dial until it picks up distortion, if there is any. I really believe the answer to that is yes, and if it is I have another question. I am not the best on knowledge of how the different db tracks work in comparison of each other. So in a home setting, where for the most part, is always the same constant voltage. What track would you use to tune a home audio subwoofer? Is it still based on the style of music that would be played through it to try and best match up what is played? Thanks in advance my bass heads.
  15. You can't just look at a pair of RCA's and just say, "they look good to me". Doesn't work like that. As well, I can tell you didn't follow the instructions for the DD-1 because in it it specifically states to disconnect your speakers when tuning the amp.
