if you got the spare cash get the plats, they should solder up real nice. I got a crap load of 0 and 8 gauge plats but havent used them yet. I only payed a buck a terminal tho, i guess it adds up when you got over 50 of them...

you can strap 2 amps to either 1 sub, 2 subs, 3 subs, 4 subs etc with or without the maxlink. You just got to remember the fact that a 1 ohm stable amp is 2 ohm stable strapped. When strapped at 2 ohms, each amp is still running at 1 ohm. So if you ran your amps at 1 ohm strapped, each amp will be seeing a .5 ohm load. edit: strapping 2 amps together is pretty much making 2 amps into 1 amp, so when you turn the remote knob up on one, it should effect both amps.

buy a maxxlink and use it to strap both amps together. You can still strap the amps the old fashioned way, but it is tedious to get your gains/subsonicfilter/crossover/etc matched extactly.

A little off topic, sorry.. Xtremespl, A home connection is not no where near fast enough to run a server that is requiring enough bandwidth. I got a 10mb download and a 2mb upload speed with Charter Cable. I also got a dell poweredge server sitting next to my desk, I tried running a game server off my home connection and my internet connection could not keep up Its the upload speeds that you need for a server, and even 2mb aint crap compaired to what a host can offer. On the otherhand. Steve, when we use to have our 4 game servers colocated in the chicago equonix we had a nice chunk of bandwidth for $140 a month, but again our host couldnt supply the needed bandwidth, it got to be too expensive and we ended up pulling our servers out. Colocation is a great idea and somewhat cheaper to webhosting, but you just need your own box. I dont know if you guys have internap in cali (i think you do) but I would try to talk to them about co locating maybe. I got a server here for you steve if you wanted to try going that route, you just have to pay the shipping and its yours, lol. -specs dell poweredge 2450 dual pent 3 1mhz processors 2 gigs reg ram 2 8gig raid drives (would need to be upgraded for more space)

you can get a d3100 cheaper then a hc2400 Buy from jegs.com or summit racing. Im pretty sure they both have free shipping. I think the price of the d3100s are $299 w/free shipping. The cost of the hc2400s are $289 + at least $30.00 shipping from most retailers. I cant wait to order more powermasters!!! Looks like you already bought oh well

Where in WI you at jon? I maybe able to help. Before going out and playing the trial and error game of replacing sensors go get your car ran on a computer. Your car is too old for odb2 scanning, but you can still scan it and if you got a bad tps,, map cam sensor, mass air sensor, o2, etc it will tell you. I played the game of buying non stop sensors, it got exspensive very quick for my old ford tbird sc 35th ann. I bet I replaced every single sensor in that car, and it still ran like shit. Most shops, dealers charge 40-50 bucks for a scan. I got a friend with a scanner tho so if your close by let me know. If your car is having a problem idling, I would also check to make sure you got good gas esp in the cold, make sure there is no water in your lines/tank. Easiest way is to buy some heet and dump it in your gas tank. Also put some fresh prem gas in the car, dont use kwiktrip gas its bad! (i like my bp stations/amaco). It maybe a cheap fix and help your car run a bit better. In the cold weather it is always better to run higher octane gasoline.

it simply wont.. Theres no way possible that 3 12-16 gauge wires can allow the current to pass through the wire without melting it to run all the cars aecessories (heat, ac, power windows, powerlocks, radio, defroster, headlights, parking lights, dome lights, inst cluster, ecm, fuel pump) and charge the battery, let alone the draw of a amp (even if that amp is low wattage, there will be at least 40 amps of current needed for it).

First of it is SOLDER not saughter. Depending on the material of the reducer, "solder" may not take to it. You will need to use "rosin core solder" if I remember right. I would still use the allen bolt for extra piece of mind that the wire will not pull out if the solder didnt adhere to the reducer. To solder your connection ends (ring terminals) you will need to strip your power wire. Hold it in place with a clamp or vice. Put the ring terminal on the end of the wire. Heat up the ring terminal and begin to solder. You want to use the heat from the terminal to melt the solder, not the flame itself. You will need a torch, a soldering iron or soldering gun will not cut it.

yea.... your cars electrical system is not going to charge by three tiny 12-16 gauge wires, they will melt asap esp if you have a stereo installed in the car. There should be a wire as stated above, 2-4 gauge that runs from your battery + terminal of your battery, to the alternator b+ stud. This is where you connect your newly upgraded big3 wire. Also as stated above, the 3 wire clip is for the voltage regulator. One wire is ground, one wire is ignition, and one wire is field which tells the alternator how much it is being "excited".

How does that not look so clean? I think it will look cleaner then just a wire shoved into a amp.. The narrow part will be inside your amp (not being seen). It will look more professional.

Either way, if you want a 2000wrms amp its going to ruffly take the same electrical upgrades as any other amp that puts out its RATED power. example.. power acoustik Power Acoustik OV1-5500D vs a t20001bd fosgate. The PA is rated with 5 30 amp fuses (150 amps total) The RF is rated with 1 250 amp fuse. We all know the PA is not going to make the 3200wrms by 1 @ 1ohm it may be lucky to do it in peak (but thats a whole nother story) but on the RF amp however it says it is 2000rms by 1 @ 1ohm and it will do that and some more, so it will need the extra amperage to have it play properly Most likely the RF amp will walk all over the PA with the proper electrical upgrades.

yea that works good, but if you got a file larger then 700mb and only a cd burner (not dvd) you need a new alternative and daemon tools is that alternative.

its a program that can be used to mount iso filetypes to cds and or your hard drive so you dont have to burn a program to cd before you use it.
