  1. I don't care about listening to them for bass, I just listen because it's Hopsin lol. He's got a shit ton of potential to become something huge in the industry.
  2. He already cut it man! Agreed on the box looking sexy as all hell. That Raptor Liner is fun to work with
  3. they are interesting beasts. they can get huge depending on what your doing with them. the 4th order in my pt cruiser goes from the front seats to the back glass, and its only got 2 15's in it. I did experiment with one design, then realized how monstrous it was gonna be and how hard it would be to successfully fit one in my trunk, so I scrapped the Idea.
  4. when running common chamber that isnt exactly true. I was just throwing a ballpark estimate out there. If you have any further info, please explain Hugh! That's why I referred him to Ray or 412, because I'm not an expert at this by any means lol
  5. Lol no problem. I haven't dealt with or built or tried to design any 4th orders, but your best bet would be to try to hit up Ray or 412CVX about them.
  6. Other people have built and rebuilt and found out what works best for a setup. Manufacturers recommendation is a ballpark figure for a general application like sealed or a basic port box. 4th orders, 6th orders and all that stuff is in a totally different league.
  7. Figure out how many subs you want total. 8 per side as you said above. Find the specs of the sub and the recommended enclosure size, multiply that by 8. So if the subs call for 3 cubes per sub, it would be: 3ft^ x 8subs = 24ft^
  8. This might become the epic thread of the day....

Haha. I'm really surprised that there isn't that much flaming going on in that thread. Must be a good Tuesday on the forums lol

No sir, staying clear of this one lol. He actually seems to be listening to advice!

  9. If either if them came with a bag of beef jerky, I'd go with that. But like said above, go with the new one.

  11. I'm using 16ga for remote, power, and ground. Power can come from any 12v constant like distro block or battery. Remote goes to the h/u remote, ground to a known good ground.
  12. My palms were sweating just watching that shit.
  13. I was gonna recommend doing that if the idea I mentioned above didn't work out for you. That's how I used to turn my amps on and off back in the day lol, remote wire and a switch. Works like a charm though!
  14. I feel I was successful on the forums tonight :) Woot woot

  15. Surprised it didn't unhook the entire damn radio! That truck is friggin' wicked!
  16. Gotcha. Just run the remote from the EQ to an accessory in the fuse box. Make sure it's an accessory that turns on when you turn the key to the "acc" or "on" position.
  17. THIS One small change at a time until you got it where you want it. Then you will want to upgrade. Over and over, its an endless cycle. Check my build logs for a prime example LOL. Check mine as well. The first page of mine is full of complete shit!! Haha $500 was my budget, and I made it work for a little bit. Stuck around here, listened to all the advice I was given... And now I'm the proud owner of the loudest Civic in my possession
