  1. probably need a new alternator, i did that with mine and i gained a little with stock alt, or maybe a bad connection somewhere, did you crimp or solder your cables?
  2. if there is room on the passenger side, i'd build a nice wall facing you so once he hits 160 the car will start drifting, but rights only haha jk i'd go for some nice 8's
  3. no crimping for me, just use rossin core solder and good to go
  4. yeh i was very, very disappointed by that decision, but it had to be made, if for some reason i was in the middle of some retard breaking or driving like a dumbass i would probably be looking at me getting knocked out by the box or it just sliding back and forth. I was planning on putting just 2 in the back so its not noticable, but it's impossible with the room i was working with i tried to give my self a little bit of space with the seat since i can't pull it back any more Edit : Build will be done before may 19th 88% sure, and i am looking forward to see anyone who is going to this SPL show in Connecticut, that is located in Rocky Hill near porter and chester inst. link for the event http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/138676-nespl-dreamz-ii-reality-2012/

  6. that time of the year where it's getting close to this event. Anyone else going? I should have my setup in by then, hopefully if nothing goes wrong
  7. don't have anything to put this on, except my headphones DENON AH-D2000 take LOW LOW notes, so anybody hit me up with some feedback not sure if posted before but here it is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QHVDLGgNggc
  8. this is how i do it As i said, this is how i would do it, but if you want to be more safe with the way you wire your system and want to add more Power, or ground wire you are more welcome to do so. Only drew this out in a couple minutes, if i see something missing i'll fix it
  9. oh i'm too high for this, my bad, misread, i feel like an asshole, sorry but i'm not, and to prove i made a mistake i won't edit out my comment and deal with it like a man
  10. would help if you mentioned what model sp4, btl-n series, bl, q series, etc. but i seen some bangers on youtube, and they hit hard
  11. warranty is really important, see what you can come up with talk to the people who sold you the car check your warranty and all that good stuff, later on contact whomever sold you the alt and talk to them see what they can help you with.
  12. i see you in love with that block brochure cd E-40 just put up not long ago, i need to grab me a copy. That thing slams
  13. this is where all state will need to drop some serious change on getting this baby back on the road, man that's sad, wonder what was the issue or what caused it.
  14. some people actually build boxes inside the trunk of the car as they go, basically meaning it's a one shot kind of thing, once build you can't take out, make any change of wiring unless you have the necessary space provided, in other words it's a caveman job build it, and when you done with it and time for a new build, you need to take it apart. Could also do some measurements see what you can work with, seen a decent size box inside a camry
  15. "To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you" one of my favorite quotes by Lewis B. Smedes, always reminds me of s.meade haha. but anyways its always better to let go, there's plenty of shit talkers out there and by gones should be considered by gones
  16. Getting the system all done can't wait

  17. Did some work in the truck for the box to sit on, all leveled and about done, just thinking of filling in the blanks or if i should leave them like that for now just in case i need to place the battery somewhere or run the wires underneath. here it is some pictures, if you guys can't load them like i can't sometimes let me know so i can re size them The box is all done
  18. Progress since monday little by little, getting there Pretty impressed by this, should deliver This is what happens after you celebrate too early Getting there
  19. build is looking good, get some videos of this beast in work
  20. still tight on time, wish i had a whole week off so i can get this done all in one week, but the only time killer at the moment is putting up the laminate on the box. My basement is sitting at 60 with no heat, so kind of hard for the contact cement to dry faster which it takes about 72 hours for full effectiveness. Anyways progress since the weekend only little by little so far, looking forward to this weekend since its actually going to hit mid 60's here and with some sun So on the weekend to do list : 1) Finish leveling the back for the box to sit on 2) If Battery and power cables come in i will re do my BIG 3 3) Finish the box, clean it up with bleach all nice and sexy Some pics of one side done with the black hammer finished trims
