    overkill is relative lol, i would just use 3/4 and double baffle with bracing if it were me, but hey, if you want the 1" go for it, just make sure you have a back brace handy, that shit is heavy!

    i have always set my gains with the subwoofer control on the HU to max, then you can gain it down from the HU at anytime to your needs

    they have system of the months with limitations... couple months ago was 1000 watts and last month was 2500, just wait around on one that fits you if you dont want to enter against the big dogs

    just thought i would share with yall what a local shop has going on. i follow them on youtube and seen this build they currently have going on, 4 dd9518s in a 6th order bandpass going into a chevy dually, each sub hacing its own ddm3. from what i can tell, 7 xs batteries and 3 mechman 400amp alts, looks sick. they normally update stuff until its done so hopefully we can see the finished product soon

    so, i ordered a termlab today and this will be the first time i have ever used one. my question is, how do you find the peak frequency you need to play at for the loudest burp? obviously since i will own it i can test all the time, but would something like playing a sweep at 1/3 volume and having it tell you the loudest frequency played work?
