  6. Word N8, I'm with ya, and mine is going in this week, so, I'm intrigued... I'm sure it'll get settled...
  7. "You said its still there when you pull the rcas. From the amp or from the head unit or the 360? alot of 360s cause noise." This is where i assumed wrong I guess, when he said "pulled the rca's" I assumed at the HU, my bad, and I've also heard the 3sixtys can get some noise going... And it's the only part in the link attached to all,.. All sorrys if I read wrong.... I'm very curious how this turns out. .Also, did this noise just start?? Or has it always been present??.. If I miss read on that, my bad..
  8. well, good luck, and post the findings, if/when you get it corrected....
  9. Maybe your DSP (3sixty.2) just for kicks, try pulling a pair of rca's outta the dsp, and go str8 in to your amp , maybe your highs..(since youll hear those the most) no static on those 2 channels, focus on the DSP,... just a thought, if your entire system runs through your dsp, and static on every channel,...gets me thinking....also, you could try to turn the adjustment pots (on the 3sixty) on the "front" channel way up and way down on you 3sixty, does it get worse and "better" with the turning?..keep me posted, mine goes in this weekend....cheers and gl bro....
  10. @N8, Edit-(fullly understood your last post) I can tear down like no other, application takes me a bit, but the re-install of just about anything I can spend a week on... My OCD kicks in, and I'll fight all effin day to get one wire loom to match stock, like I remember pulling it off.,, well, until the wife says enough... I am NO finish guy...
  11. Fellow Utah boy eh?.. I hear ya on the weather deal, but its getting nice isnt it? and then i hear snow on sunday. Anyway, Jon is golden on knowledge, and the products. You wont get better support. In this case man, you can not go wrong, period. Cheers and good luck. Edit - On a vehicle specific note... Jon is all damn knowing (its a little scary?) with about anything HONDA/ACURA.... have no fear....(thanks for the help Jon)
  12. Comedy.... nicely done.... no grey hound here, but how bout a whippet......
  13. cool, get the os on and rolling...( hope it works)... and lets see a pic of the unit turning blue for you.......then the adjustments will come...good luck...
  14. And yes I have the CD with software but it dont work.. The compatable software is the biggest complaint with the unit, in that its a short list, out dated, and no MAC use at all... get your self a compatable older palm, and install the OS per the manual, the compatable list is also in the manual... Took all of 45 seconds for mine to install and connect (unit went from red to blue) via blue tooth.... If you arent able to get it connected, setting up all the other stuff (and its a loooong list with this unit) is kinda a second thought....
  15. well done man. and welcome,.... congrats on the work done so far.feel some pride in that......your on your way... stay with it bro..
  16. 175.4 picked up please
  17. God.... Lock it... Why does this need to happen??
  18. and?... are you the one selling em? in swoops N8
  19. Geeeezus,.. The pictures look like a DC advertisement .... (approve)
  20. Sorry Jon, guess the message didn't get out., if you do use the phone... They are very helpful...
  21. Pics/vids and such will come,.. we are currently installing a RF T3 component set in the front doors, with your material of course. I gotta say, this TSX has been a damn night mare to work on. The stock HU controls 3/4's of the cars electrical, and swapping a after market at the moment is not going to happen. Im going to fight it to the end. At the same time, a RF 3sixty.2 is going in to give us ultimate control from the stock turd HU with a SINGER alt. Lots of work going on. If all else fails, a after market HU will go in, although, leaving the stock unit in place.... its been kinda a fight.... Thank you again with your support man.....Your one of the cooler cats ive met on here.... some pics and vids i would say by months end... kyle and laura EDIT- if anyone reads this, and has any advise on a late model first gen acura tsx.... all and any info or help would be greatly appreciated.... its like the OEM did everything they could to make this a beast to not work on... we are seeing why meade on his LEXUS is choosing not to replace the stock HU... and everyone is quick to point out just replace it...theres more to it than that... we refuse to have idiot lights on all the time, and stuff not work correctly.... we would rather go with out, then not have it 100% correct... so, if anyone has a idea of a late model first gen tsx install and how they went about it.. we are all ears.....toss it out there and thanks.... kyle and laura
  22. You should be proud... Looks great, I dig the color/materials... Well done...
  23. After chatting with Jon, the SS site is undergoing a bit of maintenance at the moment. For now the only way to order is to give em a call at 1.800.679.8511. Ken (the owner) and Max (assistant manager) are watching the phone like a hawk while the website is down. Jon, i just placed an order and thanks for the help and the outstanding effort. Your a true pro at what you do. Spanks again, you earned a lifetime customer.
