  1. yeah, he should do 4 12's sealed, that'd be cool. FI Q's or something
  2. you should not seal a lvl 6 18 bc the T/S specs fall within a vented style box.
  3. I'll, play. It is much bigger than my original VM check out the difference and I still wired it to a switch so I can turn it on and off. I might do some molding and make it flush...well see Before, After,
  4. thanks tony, great product. Its been a ton of help and I continue to find more uses for it.
  5. Lol I just called D'Amore and was asking for the software... I really need it at work, the graph of the Speaker. Any guesses on an ETA. And it's a great tool, you can find your box raise in seconds and where your vehicle is peaking at. Helps alot for the new comp coming up
  6. It's pretty cool the more I use it the more things I find to use it for. Plus using this tool you can find out how your displacement affects tuning, I might try to take the magnet boot off and see it if slightly changes the Fb since airspace will increase. I'm an audio nerd lol, but everyone can benefit from this tool. Can't wait to use it at work the more i learn about things in my EE classes the more i want this thing just to run around testing stuff lol I'd recommend getting it I just dont like the fact 9V batteries are so expensive!! I'm alrdy on my second 6 pack
  7. This is very true, sundown rates their equipment realistically, while industry standard allows a 10% buffer, so when something claims 20mm x-max it could realistically be 20-10-%10= 8mm Xmax lol
  8. I can't believe no one has said it... Budlight platinums 6% and delicious Gulden draak (my personal favorite, but difficult to find) Stella, blue moon, hoegaarden (all Belgium and pretty yummy) Triple IPA's but only one or two, can't drink a 6 pack of them
  9. any audio guy can make good use of it. I'm trying new things everyday and I scavenged a buch of different RCA's with different ends. Only thing that sucks is tones under 200hz make a weird wining noise in addition to the low tones. I wish it was a clean tone

  11. Since I luckily won 2nd place last month for SOTM I decided to use my winnings towards an IM-SG1 and Steve even gave me an additional discount because of the current SMD sale he was having! Thank you Steve and Jason for shipping it out so quickly, I promised I'd do a review so here we go! First off this tool is very easy to use and in minutes of reading the manual you can easily use the tool. Since I work at Aura Sound I am constantly having to make enclosures for drivers and cross over drivers at certain points. Using my LMS can be time consuming compared to how quickly the IM-SG1 finds Fs. It is a fantastic tool for all audio enthusiasts looking to make the most of their equipment or looking to find T/S specs for under $350 (thats insanely cheap). If anyone has the link to the T/S Spec software I cant wait to download it please provide. Here's the video part one of ??? depends how many other uses I document. without further adieu: (watch the video in 720 it flips to right side up)
  12. Get some used SA-12's right now they sell like candy anyways if you want to get rid of them. There my favorite under $200 woofers retail priced I've ever used
  13. I have to admit, I was pretty much thinking the EXACT same thing as I was doing it! Searching through the house/garage high and low just to find random speakers and enclosures to test.....but damn happy I pulled the trigger on this beast! I want to get one too just waiting for my company to pay for it
  14. Haha this is so nerdy!! Finding enclosure tuning and fs of speakers Makes me want an IM-SG sooo bad thanks for the review
  15. Good to hear. Kevin is definitely the fastest best customer service brand I've ever had a chance to do business with.
