oh...awesome hahah. Ya bro it takes a little longer and you gotta move it around, but at least it gets the job done. It isn't so bad for small stuff like kick panels since the light can hit most of it without moving.
thanks a lot for the comment, i am glad you like it! FYI: i am about to purchase 55 gallon barrel #18 since i started doing this....so i think a lot of people like it too

yeah man! its just for a vollt meter panel maybe like 4" x 9". Plus i had to hold some edges down during the curing process, but it was still mostly cured in 20 minutes even with moving it around.

for all the box gurus out there, how do you find volume of a angle baffled box?
- Show previous comments 4 more
-
basically find the spot where the angle stops. Draw an imaginary line to square it off. Once it is a square, find the area or volume. Then divide it by 2 (cut in half). That is your number.
-
you can do this with multiple angles in a box. Just make anything with an angle into a square by doubling it. Then find what you need to find and cut it back in half.
-
OK cool, And Steve thanks for putting it so simply. I was way over thinking this
-
Has anyone built a angle baffle box with a slot port? Or is it time to try aero ports?
- Show previous comments 9 more
-
you can also add top and bottom and divide by 2 to get your width.
-
Ok, so the port would have to be the same angle as the baffle. It would only be 10°

To my fellow trunk guys, how much heat does the carpet retain? Trying to keep stuff cool is quite difficult

i have my amps mounted behind a beauty panel, no air flow, no issues.

I have also never had issues, just dont like my amps sitting in 110 degree heat if they dont have to be
