Photobucket is stopping me from doing more build log stuff.... Every time i try to load the website it just says "unable to load" but every other website works.

For wire soldering what brand does everybody use and is there a preference in irons?

I get my $20 spool of solder from AAMP of America... And my solder fun and micro touch are power probe. I go through a $5 can of butane a day... If that tells you anything about how much I use them, best things I ever got.

Cannot decide on speaker placement for my front stage. 3-way active, its gotta be configured right.

Mids in the doors playing 60-800hz. Mid range in the upper doors playing 800-5k. Tweeters 20deg off axis playing 5k and up . Add a low tuned sub as a 4 way part of the system on a mosconi 6to8

Sundown comps are here, skyhigh speaker wire, 1/0, and 2/0 is here.. Batteries have been here, same for the sub and sub amp...mids amp is off for repair. Headunit is now needed. hunting time.

People pay A LOT of money in a brick and mortar store. Seen someone buy a w7 12 and a hd1200 yesterday at my store. Just thinking what I would have bought with that kinda money.

Sure it gives me a job, but sometimes being a semi informed member of the audio community it's hard to have to sell them what's on our floor not what's best for them and their pocket. Good thing im just an installer.

why is finding a "new" vehicle so difficult... regular cab 99-07 PowerStroke 4x4 with power windows/locks....under 150k and less than $14k....so difficult.

because truck in a country area. go to a city area like east coast florida and MPG cars are impossible to find not abused or not a billion dollars.

All this hype about caps got me thinking. WHat would happen if you have a big bank of caps in the trunk and get rear ended. If you have like 72 caps, thats a lot positives and negatives that could short. Just my thinking.

What can 12 D2 subs wire up to off one amp????

.08 ohms all parallel. 48 ohms all series. And .33 series parallel.
Consider d4's or a second amp?
