  1. so you are saying external regulated and internal regulated right? why not do all the same? if you want belt length thats easy. have a friend pull the tensioner and run a piece of rope around the pulleys and mark it, then lay it out and measure. you might have to try a couple sizes. of course running 15 alts you will have so much fun with tensioners and belt wrap . good luck
  2. so using a pac-lc1, does it change the phase angle of your line out?

I don't thinks so. It just reduces the line out voltage to the amp because of the pot. But that's above my pay grade lol

Pretty sure they're just resistor voltage dividers, if so then no they wont affect phase angle.

  3. playing burnout paradise on pc. and its fantastic

look better than the most recent need for speed game

lot more fun of a game too

  4. DC resistance is not the same as AC impedance. thats why
  5. i can dig it

I've been listening to puddles all morning.

  6. ig i had powerball money, i would build a system that couldnt even play below 50hz but it would have like 30k on like 80 - 25khz. like snares and tom-toms would be painful lol

  7. buy some twine, run it around everything, mark it, lay it out and measure. You may need someone to hold a tensioner down while you do it. but that is the simplest way
  8. lol, i almost certain i fucked up a spider on one of mine by overpowering/low notes. Gonna pull it this week and check.
  9. well, they are rated at 1500, maybe ask MariotheDon, I heard he has experience with overpowering speakers.
  10. i need to learn how to type things without it sounding like an asshole.

  11. did you put a dmm on the speaker terminals to check voltage yet? im curious what it is doing with the gain cranked
  12. The OP talked to nvx he said. The amp won't work with the dd1 due to some new chips in them I guess. that makes no sense at all, i mean, its AC voltage. only thing i can think is if the amp sees no load it goes into a different output mode. I would put a DMM on the outputs and see what its doing with no load on it.
  13. Seems several of these nvx amps do this . Wonder what Tony has to say?
  14. if you probed it on ground and speaker positive, try it again on speaker positive and speaker negative or vice versa.
