looks like about a dollar an amp for a fuse rating on that thing. Could have probably taken a lot more current. Glad you are ok. I had a similar indecent at work at got buzzed by a 460v line. scared the shit out of me.

i set someone elses gains once. They changed it like 1 hour later. i set my gains about a year ago and my dd-1 has about 1 year worth of dust on it. I wont set anyone elses gains ever again. My equipment still works, theirs' is long gone. Moral of the story, dd-1 is worth keeping around regardless of how often you use it -
bought a weight bench and some weights today. Now, where did i leave my motivation? It's around here some where.

yeah, they are fun. If you would have left that section of port in and used less filler you would have probably been better off, right now you are at 17.5 " of port per cube which is a lot of port. I don't know but they may cause you to have a peaky box that has a very high roll off above and below tuning. Maybe put that section of port back in and take out some filler and see if that helps with the unloading. But tuned at 37hz you arent going to play below 30hz very well anyway imo.

i get .93cuft from sketchup. with 39.75" of port length tuned at 28.77hz. So yeah, tuned pretty low. edit: how long are those 2x4's?

I remember when i was a kid, i went out in the county and i could actually see the milky way. Like so many starts it was like a cloud. I can't find anywhere far enough from lights anymore to see that again.

Leaky valve cover is no longer leaky. Went for drive today and cleaned up the engine compartment. May have fixed the belt slip issue, and i got carl segans cosmos for fathers day. Today is a good day
