  1. i just paid $225 shipping for 2 sa8v1 witch were meant to be v2, if i lived in us they would replace them, instead i have to cover shipping both ways, to get them replaced, like thats gonna happen, 450 to ship there and back i can get another set for $585 shipped, and just onsell the v1 over here everything is + postage and handling
  2. http://www.psp-inc.com/index.html They also sell them on amazon But they only come in 17"/18" flares That ok If you build separate boxes that better as separate amps are to be use, Didnt see the other post as I was sending mine at same time Build your box out of 3/4", 5/8 won't cut it and will break Build the box between 1.6 and 1.9cuft gross And fit a psp 18" flares 4" port 1.6gross =1.2 net @37hz 1.9gross = 1.5 net @33hz If you plan on latter increasing the power over 800 each build 0.6 each if under 0.75 is ok
  3. Common chamber is a must for a flater response 2.4 net 2x 4" aero ports 23" long or 24" long if flared 32-33hz Sav2 have a displacement of 0.1 You'll need to get 3.2-3.3cuft gross Or if you want slot port 42sq" at 2.4net 32-33hz And power them with at least 2500rms@ 12v
  4. YouTube work well, if your in another country and alot of review reading
  5. When you add baffle to front still keep the port and side going to front panel (like first drawing) and baffle goes in-between Also get rid of the 1x 45 in front right And 3 pieces of 1" or 1.25" round to brace port wall to front, back wall to front and roof to floor Edit Another thing I like to do is 45 the inside of port then radius the leadin and out the make the 45 on outside wall bigger so as the port maintains the same size all the way through the bend
  6. You blokes can't complain about shipping The q15 I got 2 months ago was $260 shipping,
  7. The fiq15 will easily do that in the right box Both louder and 1000x better sq If you just want better sq, not the same as q, but better then l7 but louder then q and l7 then the bl15 is you sub
  8. I just build a dual slot ported box for a cvx 12 It 2.5net at 40-42hz on 800rms (I get different hz numbers from each program I use, so its somewhere between 40-42hz) it's loud, and get down to low 30's but the person I bult it for wanted it like that,
  9. Doesn't look like you put a radius on the port end They need to have a 0.375 radius on them And you'll need 45's in cnr of every bend in the port
  10. 4-500 on v1.5 in 0.6net @32 and 100 on v2 t-line @35 dont have anything bigger to test with
  11. Anything above 2net is fine but 2.4would have been better and with that style box 42sq" of port is what I would have tried for, But if that's all you have, than that's all you can use, The 8's are a tight fit, but fit well inthe space, You could do a single port but then the subs will be staggered, and you many not like the look,
  12. You'll need to post some meserments for people to help
  13. Please show us how with a sub up port back and more port areo Yes it not the most efficient design. But works within the size given And I don't think more then 22sq" of port is required for a single 10 Even with that port
  14. Do be confused between a ported box and a T-line, your box you designed is a STD ported box A T-line is normally cone area in sq" of port and length of 1130/hz /4 for 1/4 wave So for a 10" it would be some where in the 70sq" port 96" long at 35hz
  15. If your going for a 400.4 and 3k mono You'll need to look at 300amp alt 2x 0 runs from bat 2 bats in trunk 1 good bat up front If you have issues or money is a big thing I'd start with 300amp alt or as close to it as u can get Start with 1 0g run And 1 good bat up front Then a second run of 0 Then 2 batts in rear
  16. Yes you can either put port drivers or passengers side The port is an L-port
  17. The sa8v2 sb Is avaible to the gp http://www.sundownonly.com/ecommerce/drupal/sa/ But will sound like crap on music as it's a burp only sub
  18. Sa12 or vvz12 Both slam and are a good price If you have a bit more cash Fiq12 or any Fi range
  19. I could but but I'm in NZ until Sunday, So I won't be home to draw it up until Sunday night, So prob Saturday night Sunday morning your time
  20. To quote many before me The right sub in the right air space, will always out perform the wrong sub in the wrong air
  21. There all just rough designed, You can use any style and just tune to what you want,
  22. so youll either need it to make power at 2ohm or 0.5ohm
  23. yes if he used pvc, the psp only come in 17" (18" long end-end with flare) so there no, normally i like to use use 3x6" for 6-7net but this design doesnt allow for it, you'll also get a higher net with aero for 2 reasons, less port wall to take up space and lower sq" is required due to the efficiency of the port design
  24. also with port up you can go bigger all the way to back door, unless you need the space for amps or batteries
