  1. When the cops tell your drunken friends to turn the music down, make sure they just turn the damned music down!

I live in a small town. The cops are bored. 8 patrol cars, an SUV, 12+ cops over a party consisting of about 30 people. They let themselves in after get a unsatisfactory answer about the music.

I didn't do anything. I was placed in cuffs for being with a group of people who were drunk and giving the cops a hard time when they came to tell us to quiet the party down.

  3. If this man has something you want for sale, buy it from him! Purchased a DC 3.5K from him- straight cash, he practically teleported it to my house and it came just as described.
  4. 1 D7500= 1.5 D3100's Seems like 3 of those would be a really good fit for the bare minimum.
  5. I'll be the first! The B-Stock material is just as good as the regular stuff.
  6. Someone buy my 20.1 or trade me a BC3500! I have cash! lol

  7. Any Korean 2k will do, you'll notice many around here swinging from the nuts of various manufacturers of such amps, they are all pretty good for the most part. EDIT: What do you want out of your system and what is your budget?
  8. Today's my birthday, will have to force myself not to work on my car.

  9. Gonna be at school asking the other kids if they've ever heard a 150 hahaha
  10. Looks like you're out livin' the dream and you brought the family with! Good stuff man, diggin all the videos.
  11. I find that the very wealthy are not always the very happy, they have poor marriages, drug problems, and other issues like anyone else. I have worked with many wealthy clients and none of them are just livin' it up 24/7 by any means.
  12. I think the argument was that if you play below tuning or play anything else to cause the impedance seen by the amplifier to drop (as it will with a reactive load) that you will face distortion. I do not know if that holds water.
  13. "My friend's brother's housekeepers boyfriend used a DD-1 once and now he is sterile, damn you D'Amore Engineering!"
  14. i have no idea how that is even possible. I can (and have) taken my original prototype, serial #0001 and put it next to serial #003000 and it would be exactly the same. I could put it next to an HV and have it be exactly the same. I even made a video showing they are all the same. I have no idea what you guys did, i wasn't there but something isn't right. If you feel the product has a problem, send it in, i will take a look at it. Actually send them both in i would like to see for myself. This is why I wouldn't mind owning a DD-1 besides the fact that it's great and has set a new industry standard. You get Steve quality service because it is literally his own name at stake. I love someone who stands behind their products, not many individuals or companies are willing to anymore.
  15. They obviously do great work. I will not be paying them for it, however.
  16. if that guy really did say that, then he really isn't that respectable....because a DD-1 won't break an amp any quicker then a DMM or an O-scope would. That is the most ludicris thing i have heard. Go pick the most cheapest, flea market amp you can find. A Boss amp perhaps. And shove a DD-1 probe into it. I bet it doesn't blow. So if it doesn't blow, made of the cheapest parts there is, then what does that say about whatever amp that was that blew? I highly doubt it did FROM our product. I have never seen it EVER and sold 3,000 of them so far...not one customer called and said their amp blew. in fact i have 100% ratings on every single transaction and after sell. Go look at the comments. Nothing but love. This product is sold and being used in training courses all over the world. The people who don't like it are just MAD...and they can stay that way I am extremely happy. If that was whoever at DB-R I would not be surprised. They were less than OK in the service section when I contacted them, I got a condescending bit about amplifier design when asking what it would cost to swap out some capacitors in my 20.1. Long story short I decided not to give them my money.
  17. The T/S parameters reveal these are beastly subs. The slight (and I mean slight) reduction in sd has not trashed the specs (in fact they are improved yet again) and will certainly not affect performance. Any time you try something new people are gonna hate on it or criticize it because there are reasons things are done another way, obviously, that is why you have to forge on and innovate. I respect that majorly and I wish I could find some side work installing because I'd love to try some of your products.
  18. Only Orion and Earthquake have surrounds capable of some "real" excursion as of now. This is completely true.
  19. That motor looks massive, gotta remember this is a 15" driver. Chunky basket too, looks mega sturdy.
  20. My RF Riot Twisted Cables started at $69.99 and went up past $129.99, maybe more iirc - i know they were not cheap at all. And they were not hand made and individually tested/certified in writing either. Ours have a medium price range. Not dirt ass, radio-shack cheap, but not pricing likeyou would see on a REAL high end set. If you know RCA's, you know they can ask OBSURD amounts of money. I am not making any special claims about "extra SQ" from them, but i will claim a HIGH QUALITY, hand made product you can depend on for years. If you think about it, there is 8 solder joints in an RCA and what you pointed out is another thing, you have to be GOOD at it or they will be garbage within weeks. That solder job has to be on point. Just because it works when you first hook it up doesn't mean you will get years of service out of a mediocer solder job. Especially if you remove them a lot. Also, just to make 3 measley RCA cables, you are looking at now 24 Solder joints. Not to mention set-up time, getting it all stripped, prepped and in a good position to do the job. Ever try to solder with a wire just laying on the table? Its a pain in the ass. We use a jig of course but even that has to be setup. So ya, RCA's are not rocket science but they do take time to build properly and we do use great materials. What more can you ask for You shouldn't even need to explain this. I will always pay more for a quality product and be happy knowing my hard earned money is going to a man good enough to bring a dependable no-nonsense product to the market at a reasonable price.
  21. Luckily in the world of mobile audio you can still find a few.
