      I've seen some pretty Fi-esque drivers on some home audio boards. and a lot of the IB series subs being used in home audio aswell. would not suprise me one bit.

    I would wait and see what mechman says since im guessing the alt is still under warranty and any change you make would void that.

    The plugs may or may not be different but the alt should just bolt in. The great thing about gm is they used the same gm large case alt for a long time across multiple platforms.

    At .5 ohm they are probably 50% efficient if you're lucky.

    Potential current draw and actual are not the same thing. A true 8k rms rated amp isn't very likely to actually ever put out 8k rms in a car on music.

    Not in a reasonably sized casing that would make sense. That one mechman makes is that large because it has to be, if they could make a 500 amp gm large case they would.

      If it wasn't for the fact that I get 3 weeks vacation at my job I would've got another one. That and no drug tests and I could do what I want, lol. I have a seasonal job working for one of my old teacher's company. I'm on-call and get paid cash. The HVAC courses is mostly basically electricity. I'm pretty sure you could handle it.

      There's hella jobs. I do a lot of sidework too. Store owners in the hood call me a lot to work on the fridges or slumlords call me to get them up to code, lol. Also, fridges are a huge pain in the ass, lol.

      I'm with you. Radioactive stuff really fascinates me, almost went into nuclear engineering.

      Not only does the nuclear wasteland part interest me I am also fascinated by how quickly nature just reclaims everything after man is gone.

      Also I love the game fallout and you can't get any closer to it being reality then there.

    The places near me won't let you jump with a wing suit if you have less than 200 jumps under your belt.

    I actually just looked into to doing it about a month ago and was really planning to go through with it to prove to myself that I could do it. But sadly they have a 230lb limit so it's a no go for now but one day it will happen. I was actually shocked by how cheap it is.
