mr.p
Beenout of the game for a bit, does meca still require you to be outside the vehicle if its over a certain db? That was my only problem with meca trying to jimmy rig my throttle wide open, i can program the explorer so no problems there, also not being able to slam because of the sq car judging, im not loud anymore so that wont be a bother DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
kingsuv
I agree that the out of car rule is a pain in the ass for competitors. Kinda defeats the "daily driver" marketing it was designed for. Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out. not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

mr.p
MAN...I really thought that rule would have got the outs by now. Agree with the stinky coils, and also i would have no idea if an amp failed etc, not being able to see my voltage.... DCAUDIO BALLS DEEP
ACKAWILY
I like the psychlone class that DB Drag has, I dont like all the rules but I like the type of class that it is in general. Is there any way we can throw this into MECA or something close to this? What exactly about the format do you like? It is very simalair to "Park and Pound". Obviously the mic placement is different and the point system for each is different. It gives bonus points for lower frequencies and the RTA....well the RTA is a whole new ball game. Those are the 2 things I like the most actually. LOL, I listed 3 actually bro. mic placement points rta Personally, each format has some positives and some negatives. I can see a combination of the two formats working out. I really don't like the RTA portion of psyclone, it is a little hoaky the classes kind of suck too. It is one hell of an idea and something to look into for next season. LOL my bad. I like the points and RTA. Mic placement in my vehicle is pretty much the same wheather it's MECA or on the glass. 1995 Sonoma with camper shellJVC KD-R900(12) Incriminator Audio Lethal Injection 15s Crescendo BC5500 ( sent to me not 18v capable)(7) XS Power d1600(2) 350amp Mike Singer AltsStripper Pole FTW Member Build Under ConstructionYoutube Videos

Soapbox
After speaking with competitors in other states it seems their classing of cars is A LOT more strict per the rules. Here is a short list of some things i have noticed here in California. 1. I have never seen the judges check voltage. There are a couple of people I think who have 16volt systems who have slid by into Street Class. 2. Cars with extra alts need to be verified in the lane so everyone can see the field is even. We need a even playing field. 3. RPM's are never checked there has been several instances where people are over the 2k limit. 4. Battery sizes are never checked for the AS class. 5. Charging limit per rules. 15 volts at the amp! Since the introduction of the vcm it's to easily changed to above the legal limit. 6. Late comers are checking the class scores prior to paying fees to enter the lanes. We have quite a few people who are investing several hours to get to the comp to have someone in town just show up late in the day and let into the comp. How fair is it to spend 40-100 or more in fuel to have someone do this to you not even counting the entry feey fees to end up getting bumped this way. There are more but these need to be addressed imo. I check batts and know what a 16 volt batt looks like who had 16 and was in a street class???? 2.... there are 2 people with extra alts ray and ray and both have showed me how they drop alts for street class and then for db class get the extra alts running who eles has extra alts???? 3 i check a verify rpms.... yes some people have reved up a lil more in the lanes but it never affected the score or there placeing so dqing them was pointless 4. i do check batts i have a rule book and have never read anything about the size for as class please show me where it says it has to be a certian size 5. fine i can check all the voltage and if anybody gos over 15 volts trying to cheat you will be banned from meca for life if thats what you want 6. the late comers is all up to aubrey i take the sheet class them and judge them thats it i have no idea when they show up or when they pay and 7 how do you know how judging happens in other stats? and is more strick? have you been there How about finals have you been there??? I HAVE and has been judged at finals and watched how finals was judged except for checking voltage at the amp wich at finals was checked just one time to be verifed and not checked again the judging at our shows are not much differnt from Finals Thank you Have you ever had your woofers blown?
