Things that piss you off in the Car Audio world.

People who think that squeezing a terminal on with pliers is an acceptable way to secure a terminal. Ugh...

Although, I did convince someone today. So my efforts are not in vain!

I could pull one of his terminals off by hand.

I gave him one of my terminals and some tools and said "try to get it off." So he put the thing in a bench vice and pulled as hard as he could. The wire came out of the vice and he smacked himself in the head. But the terminal showed no signs of going anywhere :D

win! that wire showed him what's what.

Honestly, depending on the length of the wire, I could almost pull the wire out of the sleeve when it soldered.

Yessir. I got the 16 ton ones. These guys

It's probably a bit overkill for doing 0 gauge. But I figure a couple extra tons of crimp force isn't really a bad thing. Only issue is it doesn't come with smaller dies - the smallest you can crimp is 4ga. Which is fine by me

Why some guys seem to think the laws of physics don't exist in their vehicles and no matter how much experience you try to lend them their 6 months of prefab knowledge is better and more logical....

Spending my time and money getting certified to be an actual hire-able installer and realizing it was all for nothing.

having thousands of dollars in equipment laying around that nobody wants lol

there's a dude that goes to my school that has a F-350 that he modded and has these HUGE exhaust pipes coming up out of his bed... I've seen subwoofer boxes with a single aero port that wasn't as big around as whatever he used for the exhaust pipes coming out of his truck

Thanks I was pretty excited about the alt myself. kind of like a school girl, in a dress, on a swing. lol

It's warming up enough that the donut-punching cyclist douchenozzles are getting their two wheeled fagmobiles out.
