kirill007 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 People who buy there shit at Walmart with prefab boxes and turn the gain up and say my System was shit because there was louder and distorting like a mofo then the next week saying that brand is shit because it blew the subs then went out and bought some jl w7s (and I do like jl gread sounding speakers just fucking over priced) o and the price of everything. I and subs that are not round. Sorry have always hated square subs triangle subs oval subs. Sound waves are round so should the thing producing them Haha, I hope you don't use square ports either but round ports or else you'll still end up with the "wrong" sound waves. People who make up the craziest theories about sound waves and current/voltage travelling trough their wires. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
TeamHT Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 It was so hard getting a pentagon shaped port for my xplodes. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Omega5002 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 When people tell me, "oh you should have done this, this, this" Seriously, stop. soffhands Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 i hate a blown 2 channel crescendo 1600/1 amp and road noise lol thats my weekend lol
SnowDrifter Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 When people jam their wire in their amp terminals with a wad of strands sticking out then wrap said wad in electrical tape. It looks so janky. Like this guy. Looks like he wrapped it in kid's bandaids. Not sure I'd want my remote wire taped to my ground either with that much junk sticking out ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .
OrionStang Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 Changing head unit brands. Had to redo the entire harness. I still have to tear the console apart again to remove the Kenwood cage, and install the Pioneer cage. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
black05alti Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 people that knock underground brands just because they haven't heard of them.. EDIT: not even really underground brands.. just brands that are less known (sundown, skar, crescendo, etc..)
SnowDrifter Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 When I order an amplifier. It was listed as in stock, but it's out of stock. Then they call me and say they shipped a smaller amplifier to substitute for it the day before. I get annoyed over the phone that they would ship me something cheaper than what I ordered because they were out of stock. Guy says he will talk to his manager and call me back. No call. 2 emails later no response. If it's out of stock, fine. Call me. Either tell me how long the wait is, refund me, or if we are substituting something give me something equivalent not something smaller. But this giving me something that's 20% smaller crap and going "dark" when I protest just isn't going to fly. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
Krakin Posted May 30, 2013 Report Posted May 30, 2013 Offering legitimate advice and then getting, "don't listen to him he obviously has no idea what he's talking about". Krakin's Home Dipole Project http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/186153-krakins-dipole-project-new-reciever-in-rockford-science/#entry2772370 Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist? I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . . What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself but what has drawn your attention in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears, thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.
