I have a DC 2k up for sale, may be a bit cheaper then these options and just as good. Will do .5 all day. HMU if your interested :)

But if/when you get another HDC3, I'd recommend getting another 2kw amp.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

I only had the crescendo 2k for maybe a week and so far im very happy with it.

Went on a 5 hour trip and felt the amp at 1ohm and was ice cold every time i checked it.

or just get a big enough amp that does the power that you need at 2 ohms instead of wiring super low, and possibly blowing your shit up

yeah, i know.. but it was to test to see if the amp would blow or not LOL...

but the guy didnt mention his electrical, mine is slightly above par of most systems :P

The OP isn't ready for .5 daily, so that suggestion is out the window. Get a AQ2200, and later on another AQ2200, and strap them at 2ohm.

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Bringing this back from the dead...

I'm looking into getting a new amp and was thinking about the DC Audio 2.0k (cost $619 shipped to me) but after seeing the prices for these two amps I'm considering getting one of them. What would you suggest for running them at 1 ohm daily for like 3-4 hours a day 6 days a week? I have the electrical to back it up. I might need a third battery but I'll have to see when the amp comes.
