And why beat the shit of of something, when you can just end its' life quick and painlessley? I knew where my bacon came from and in a way it kinda made me proud. I would only raise the pigs for about 3 or 4 months, any longer and they would get too big lol. The butcher shop I took them too was a fine place, they used on of those little gun bastards like in no country tor old men, one little pop and the beast was down. Those animals lived it up and got fat though, the pigs had a pen with unlimited access to food and water area to run around and plenty of mud pits to splash around in. We fed them fresh apples off the tree next to their pen and even went to the grain elevator and had cherry flavoring added to their feed so they would eat more. The chickens were allowed to free range and eat what they want, the horses and sheep got about 5 acres at least to be able to run around in and eat. Any one who thinks this is how all slaughterhouses and farms are need to get the fuck out into the country and see a farmer, not sit in their house watching shock videos from animal rights activists thinking this is how all things are done. Only mass corporations run shit this way, and if you want to be a better person and not support them, then please go and look for farmer's markets and support small farms and Amish people, they will be more than happy and whatever you buy from them will taste SOOOOOOOOO much better than anything you can buy in store.
