RooTxBeeR
I've had the equipment and wood for the longest, just needed the tools and honework to make it happen. Finally got to it. Next is to save up some and possibly fix the car. It hasn't really hindered my car much at all, although I don't go past 70mph for the risk of having it unbuckle. I am dead set on getting 2 Digital Designs 512b's, so once those can be purchased and box built for them, I will also reinstall all my fans, and add in a extra 4 compared to what I was using before. Right now my amp doesn't get hot enough to where it needs them, but I know once I wire it down to 1 ohm it will for sure need that. I also, still need to get my alt fixed which is going to cost a little over $100 for a 100A alt which would greatly help compared to my stock 60A. RooTxBeeR
Update! Finally got a new alternator in. A place in the south side of chicago, 120A alternator for $120, can't go wrong am i right? 14.4-14.5 charging voltage, now when I bump I barely ever see it drop under 14.0v. Before I used to drop to the lowest of 13.0v. Also beacuse of that, some songs that I couldn't wang 100% before, can now be palyed like that and dayum, noticeable difference to me. So glad I finally got this done. Next step is some new subs to get the amp down to 1 ohm, I am pretty sure I want to get 2 DD 512b's. I don't know of any other sub that fits what power I have any better than those. They will be both on 375w a peice. Also, while I did all this, checked my solder points on all my 1awg wire. All looks good except one. Old alt The alternators, The other reason why I loved this place too that I went for the business. I went in with a stock 60A honda alternator, he rebuilt it to 120A. WHen I went to pick it up, he also gave me a medium sized 120A alternator, mine is small cased. He said pay me after you install it and get it working. How sweet is that? But here are the alts, left side is rebuilt one, right side is medium case size. All look pretty good lmao that can't be good On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol.
