cardy Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 i am very curios to know when i was introduced to this site to shape my sound system and i mentioned all my jl amps i was asked why did i choose jl over other brands i mean sound quality wise they was the best thing i heard in my area as far as amps and subs plus looking at the amplifier tuning compared to other amps i understood why

newls1 Posted August 29, 2011 Report Posted August 29, 2011 Alright, There is NOTHING WRONG WITH JL... but with that said, I will repeat everything that everyone pretty much said.. You could get "More" for your money if you look into other brands that just arent as well known as JL. Just because these brands arent as well known, doesnt mean there not good, you know what i mean? Sundown, Fi, DC, AQ, etc... are AWESOME companies, that make SOLID products, there just not available for purchase at all the places you may have visited. I think you need to broudin your horizon some, and realize that there are tons of companies that you may need to look into. Dont get me wrong though, JL makes very nice stuff, but you pay for the name "JL" printed on it. I personally love the technology inside there highend amps, just like RF's CP amps, JL is pretty much the same. Makes pretty much the same power @ 4ohm as at 1ohm, that is just COOL!!!
