If I'm crossing over into the USA, wouldn't they get suspicious of a huge ass enclosure in the trunk? What if they try and tear it open? Anyone have experience with this? Problem is if you run sealed then they would have to take out a sub. One thing to keep in mind is that they can literally do whatever they want. Being from Detroit (if you didn't know we have a tunnel and a bridge to Windsor which is slammed) I've heard a ton of stories, it just comes down to luck, just be sure to be as nice and compliant as possible. I've always found it ridiculous that people smuggle drugs across the boarder when you can get in a boat and zip across the river or either lake without seeing a sole.
