Real96SS
Edit: looks like you gotta plan already, just another suggestion you may think about sometime down the road taking the back plastics off the bed rails and the roof in the back and getting them smoothed out and giving them a glossed black look. Ive seen many avalanche's smooth out the plastics back there and color match them to the vehicle and it looks classy, makes you do a double take because at first you almost mistake it for an escalade ext. But insted of color matching it white, you could go black and make the box look seemless to the truck. Might be kinda cool, but I say screw it for now and just do what it takes to get this beast bumpin again! Don't want to give you an idea that gives this project another anymore of a setback. Like I said before just throwin out a suggestion is all, your doin great and keep it up! Yeah its a plan so hopefully it goes as planned. I thought about getting the plastics matched to the truck.Just haven't gotten around to it. Also you wont see the box in the back because the back window and the covers will be on. It wont be seen much if any at all.I just wanted to make it as pretty as possible. dolarbilz
Keep going looks good..did you sand the coats of primer ? That's going make it look the best..what brand did you use? For a pro look find some duplicolor or SEM I build primer..I prefer SEM ..but get duplicolor at cost We sell it. Again using SEM rattle cans paint looks way better than any Rattle can.. its all in sanding.and those primers sand nice . Or get a wennie roller and black pant I prefer semi gloss and go to town..I've done it on a lot speaker boxes looks good

Purplehaze
Yeah man, looks killer! Very nice! There is always bedliner, but I wouldn't use the rattle can bedliner. I'm biased because I use it on alot of stuff but that technicaly is sort of your bed your painting so it's not like it would look unatural. But buy some kind of a kit with an air gun for it, or roll it on because the rattle can stuff(bed liner) like I said looks like poo! If you already got your plans and mind set on a certain look go for it! Just throwin out a suggestion is all...carry on I have to respectfully disagree. IMO the roll on stuff looks like poo. The rattle can stuff looks quite good, if you do it rt. Did you see my doors, of fuse/distro boxes? They were done w/ rattle can bed-liner, I think they turned out quite well. The only reason I am covering the doors in vinyl is so it will be a softer finish, and perfectly match the rest of the car. Anyway his paint job looks kick ass, so it doesn't matter anyway. Just wanted to throw in my $.02. Carry on sir! Yes I do have a couple cans of the spray kind and if I don't like it I will just redo it LoL Great progress!
