I tried to upgrade the h80i to the h100i and pay the difference but they wouldnt break up the combo deal or upgrade.. Makes no sense to me but whatever.. it will do for now. Please tell me how you like the new 8 core, I'm buying computer components today or tomorrow, Just stumped on if I should get the new 8 core vs the 8350. I've heard that the new FX processor that just came out was a let down, High power consumption and roughly around the same performance as the 8350. Knowing that with the new 8 core your limited by water cooling makes me want it slightly less. The 8350 has been on my list for a few months now, then I seen those 2 8cores (but they are combo deal only) which I didnt mind since it had a combo with the asus rog board i wanted with the 8350. But i seen them and had to have!! Id love the other one, but its $800 alone, so that aint happening. loll iirc they are sold as combo only because not every socket939 mobo is built to spec to handle the power needed for that cpu, let alone the extra heat created since they dont come with a stock cooler. I still would of wished to step up to the h100i and pay the difference, but id like to do a legit water loop someday so oh well. I think everything should be here monday so I will know that night how it runs. Hoping for a decent OC on it too. we shall see.
