I think SMD moderators should look into doing SOTM for bragging rights and at the end of the year take the the 12 winners into nominations for System of The Year for prizes.

Sounds like a good idea and a quick way to thin the herd on who really just wants bragging rights and not free stuff.

Definitely. +2.... or even simpler, dont announce the prize until the winner is decided... that would even help eliminate all the gimme gimme's to a point as well.

why is that? people nominate, people pick their favorite "in progress" build, someone wins something......A DD-1 or something that will help with the install. I think it would be fun and i dont care if their wont be as many nominations. It will make it that much easier for someone to win :D
