SQMonte
When wiring up a secondary battery in the trunk, is it best to run power and ground from the front battery to the back? I know you can ground the back battery to the frame, but is that the best way to do it? For the + run, should that come from the front battery or the alt? bre2ts
For the + wire doesn't really matter, since I run multiple runs to the rear battery bank I do it from my front battery cause I can use a toolmaker input with multiple inputs and makes it a lot easier. I also ground my rear battery bank to my front battery because I like the complete circuit. S15_Silvia
The way I see it, since the alt is going to the front battery anyway, wire it from there. In MY mind at least, you'd have greater amperage draw ability if you have the alt and battery both contributing on that + wire. 2016 Subaru BRZ | Sony XAV-AX100 | Rockford Fosgate DSM 4080 & DSM 40ix | On 6/6/2012 at 6:32 PM, 'LZTYBRN' said: 3. skittlesRgood
ive always ran alt to front battery, then back. i would always suggest grounding to the front battery. but you can ground to the chassis and the front battery if you like. carshateme
How did you guys get your pcp piping to stay attached to under your car? I have C holders welded on the side of my frame structure...and it's a pain to have to pull it out to add more wiring....but it was the only way from getting it not to fall down...due to all the pot holes in Michigan. New build coming soon. HatersGonnaHate
Use the same fasteners that would be used to attach electrical pvc conduit to the sides of houses.
