Gonna be fun reconing all those for sure. I wouldn't switch subs. Those AQ's are plenty beast. This kind of thing can happen at finals and you have to expect it, especially running that much power. He's not the only one that roasted subs this weekend. AQs must suck if they can't handle that.... while hard clipping, during a kaos run. 2007 Pacifica Rebuild. Less quiet. Still not loud.

Take a temp gun to a dust cap and watch just how fast clipping heats up a sub. There's a reason DD1 exists. When you're in the lanes at finals, you do what you gotta do though. I think that's the biggest reason to switch brands and not that aq is just bad.
