aculous
gear vendors over/under drive and taller gearing is where its at in a muscle car/truck. you gotta be able to justify the cost though.
aculous
i'd be able to get double digits if it wasn't for my carb. got a holley 4160 and an intake manifold that don't match up for shit, plus one of the idler screws(iirc) is fucked and doesn't do a damn thing. gotta weigh cost but the atomic efi kits and the FAST kits are awesome for those motors. May be worth it in the long run.
Miguels
I already got an overdrive in it and efi is in my future parts list but also bigger cam and heads are so might end up with that same gas mileage..thinking of maybe not putting audio in it and make it a track truck and go all out on the engine. But who knows since its not my daily my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
