I voted for Obama because McCain said, right before the bank bailouts, that he not only supported but put his campaign on hold to push for bank Bailouts (with ZERO strings attached), said the economy was fine. He and the pig with lipstick would have been fucking lost and would have taken us down a dark road that ended with people like Trump running things. The problem is people blaming the mythical "main stream media". You know the people who espouse this nonsense get it from Fox News, the highest rated cable news channel for the last 10 years+. Doesn't that define a mainstream source for their arguing points? I blame Fox, MSNBC, Rush, Sean etc for making shit up and putting it out as fact to a bunch of nitwhits who think the world is 5,000 years old. I will not vote for Santorum's "Americhristiansharia" ideas and Romney is to slimy to get a vote from me. Obama helped me by making sure I won't fire a nother round in Iraq. He is working on doing the same with Afghanistan (I just got home at the end of August). Cash for clunkers helped the people selling cars (brother in law made a killing) and "you pick it" junkyards. Credit card reform was a slap in the face to any institution who though it was OK to bullshit you about your statement. Health care reform is good if you are not a selfish fucker who thinks people need to pay or die. (funny, most of these are "Christian") Cutting taxes alone for corporations will NOT be a magic pill for job creation. Not ONE CEO has said they would spend the money to make more of anything in the US, that means there is an un paid for tax cut that guarantees not a single job. How does a "conservative justify this by saying it will great jobs? I could go on, hell let's get the crazies spun up on gay marriage! On pre-natal care! on gays in the military! It's pretty obvious you were bashing Bush and trying to say otherwise is just bullshit and you know it. About the unemployment issue. I am going to assume you noticed that this was one of the mildest winters on record, right? Did you know that unemployment figures take into account seasonal adjustments? That means they assume that a certain amount of jobs will basically go away because of harsh winter conditions and the numbers are adjusted to reflect that. This winter being so mild, those jobs kept right on going through the winter in most of the country. Surprise, surprise! This administration went ahead and adjusted the unemployment figures to account for a normal winter. So, of course it would look like unemployment got better. It's an artificially inflated number.
