Hunters21w
Hey guys what are respectable distances to shoot most handguns? The farthest I've shot is 50ft because that's the farthest they have at my range. I can hit near the center of the paper pretty decent at that range. Do people really shoot 25-50 YARDS accurately?? 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
KenC210
I believe 25ft is a good standard... I believe 50ft is plenty far for a pistol... 25yds is about 75ft kinda far if you ask me. I agree, I don't ever plan on shooting farther than 20-25ft. I just have read articles where people claim to pistol shoot long distances and didn't know how common it was. Glad to hear I'm not crazy lol. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400

For personal defense you generally arent gonna shoot or shoot at someone 20-25 ft away are you? No because they aren't an immediate threat... I believe most shootings happen between 3-5 yds (going from memory) could be wrong but encounters are up close and personal thats why they are self defense Team MaxRetribution Si Vis Pacem Parabellum Id rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6 Bowhunting- Life Begins and Ends at Full Draw Bowhunting Team Fatal Trajectory Hunt Team http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/49335-sick96vtecaccords-t-line-build/?hl=sick96vtecaccord << Accord Build http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/68498-smokedout08impalas-tline-build/?hl=+sick96vtecaccord << Impala T-line build Rebassed.com for all your music needs 👌
Borris The Blade
This was from 2 years ago when I first shot my pistol. It was the first time I shot a pistol bigger then a .22. It's like rubbing your wiener up against a sheep.
Hunters21w
Rented a Glock 35 for the first time. Trying to decide between that and a G34. Felt pretty good in my hand, shot it pretty decent. I think I ruled it out though and am going to go with a G34. Here's my first target, 10 shots @ 25ft. Not too bad, I couldn't get it centered though for some reason. Just a little to the left. I rarely shoot past 15ft though so I was satisfied with that. 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
Lbox88
Decided to do a test, 25 rounds each target, one target using specifically the mag with the pinky extension and no pinky extension on the other. With extension Without Not too much of a difference. UBL | Build Log
Hunters21w
Yea I think I'd need a pinky extension. Never shot one without it but it just feels more natural to me to have a firm grip. It does seem like you tore apart that bullseye a little more with the extension though, and no #7/white area shots. I'd say your slightly better with the extension in that test 06 Police TahoeHU- Pioneer 80prsAmp- Crossfire 8kSub- 4 15" Crossfire xs v2sWire- 1/0 Knu/AudiotechnixAlt- 3 Mechman SMD 340sBatts- 6 XS Power 3100s, 2400
