FedEx Fails Again! (Broken Sub)

Recommended Posts

I think they should use shockwatch on there packages with signature required that way the delivery driver has to be there. Shock watch is placed on the outside of the package and if the package is handled in a bad way it will release a die the upon arrival you will definitly know something is not right and the driver is still there to take back the damaged goods.

Nasty... gotta wonder how hard someone dropped that....

with so much weight, it probably doesnt take much. i dropped one battery module at work today. must have fallen 1' down a ramp and the sheet metal on top was crushed.

Wow that sucks man, how was it packaged?

Like all the other DC Subs, Foam on the top and bottom and double boxed.

all that shit and they STILL managed to break it? wtf does dc have to do, use wooden crates inside the boxes?

some other companies do. wouldnt be a bad idea. im sure it a matter of how much extra the packing costs vs how often a sub breaks and how much it costs to fix.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Fi uses good packaging(=wooden crate + foam), cardboard boxes and foam aren't good enough for 50+ pound subs.

Heavy subs don't need a lot of fall distance to break something.

t

I just got 2 Fi btl n2's today and there was no wood at all. Just foam and double box. I'm gratefull they got here in one peice from Fi to eastern canada.:) Also, the latest unboxings I have seen there was no wood either.. maybe only on 18's and not 15's im not sure. Still a 50 pound woofer though.
