newb4976
Ok so it is only .08, but still i ask is is 10.63 inches of port enough for this sub? i read around and i saw that they like around 16 inches, so there is my confusion on the subject. Joe X
There is a couple of thing to bear in mind, there are two versions of the SA-8 at this time, the V1 and the V2 (which can be setup with a higher net volume and has larger displacement), the port area as long as within 12-16 square inches per cubic feet of net vol is OK, this is at 15. So no port noise if that is your worry. You may have read to set it up at 16 square inches per cubic foot of net vol or since the V2 can be setup at 1 cubic feet of net vol so the port area would be larger. newb4976
Alright, this should be my final question, do you think that the box specs provided will bring the SA-8 to the fullest or near the fullest potential, for SQ purposes, on 550 watts? i mean I've seen videos of this think just absolutely slamming for an 8, do you think it will do that, in the box? After all, 1/2 of this box is what i would like
